Also a good explanation of nationalist/patriot movement vs modernism (aka nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr/religion) starting around 9:10 mark:

If Texas does in fact secede, I will be moving there.
-
Hudspeth, TX here I come!
-
I hope they are joined by a huge chunk of flyover country. Charge the liberal coasts for water, flyover rights and sell them food and oil.
-
If Texas did secede, and it is in their state constitution that they can secede, I would not be surprised if a few other states followed. A nation which does not recognize their true God as king of the nation cannot last for long. So when the breakup happens, hopefully at least one of the states will have the wisdom to recognize Jesus Christ as the king of all nations and specifically the king of THIS nation.

Where does it say in their state constitution that they can secede?
I do know that they are allowed, at any time --- as a condition of becoming part of the United States --- to split into as many as five separate states, but as far as secession, I'm not aware of any legal framework that allows this.

Ok, maybe it is not in the Texas state constitution but neither is it forbidden to secede by any federal or State of Texas law. "one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all" Well, only God is indivisible so any notion that this nation is indivisible is false from the get go. Also, the cινιℓ ωαr did not establish that it is illegal to secede. It just established that there are people who are willing to go to war rather than give up power willingly. But if the US was faced with either losing Texas or losing the whole country, they might agree that losing Texas is the better option.

Texas should secede and then annex Mexico and officially declare Jesus Christ the king of the nation.
-
They could call it Texico. I think they would quickly become more powerful than the USA and then they could annex the remaining states. Burn all atheists, communists (I repeat myself), and freemasons above the 3rd degree at the stake. Send the muslims back to the Middle East and Africa. Send the Hindus back to India. Send the buddhists back to China. Offer amnesty to blacks, if they are happy to be here, they can stay. If they don't like it, they can go back to Africa. If they stay and they riot, they get put to death. No immigration except for Catholics. Offshoring business or jobs would be illegal. Everything that is sold must have at least one manufacturer in the nation. Annex Greenland for rare earth elements. Cancel all debt to China. Quit the UN and demolish the UN headquarters in NY. Outlaw membership in the Bilderberg group, Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission. Make it a capital crime for unelected people to plan, conference or conspire with foreign nationals on any political issue regardless of whether it involves the interests of the nation or not.

Repeal the 13th amendment. The President would be directly responsible for regulating the money supply and money would just be created and put into the Treasury. There would be no debt incurred.
-
Jews would be sent to Israel after taxing them 90% of their net worth.
-
Not all Jews. But at least all the ones who are worth more than $10 million. The rest could leave if they want but not forced. But they wouldn't be allowed to hold any public office nor own any banks or credit agencies, etc.
-
The vote would be taken away from women. Too emotional.
-
Sean would be the first president.

It's hard to imagine the US armed forces going in and fighting millions of armed Texans, especially with all the other problems this country has these days. And not like the US needs to censor and monitor its behavior to suit the sensibilities of the rest of the world, but this would not look at all good on the international scene.
And imagine what would happen, if Russia --- fundamentally a conservative, Christian nation --- offered Texas assistance, and basically told the US "let Texas go --- or else"? And a tripartite alliance with Mexico?
This would not end well.

Also, charging interest on a loan would be illegal. A fee could be charged for the service but it would have to be a reasonable compensation for the work that went into servicing the loan. That would preclude 30-year mortgages and even 5-year loans would be highly unlikely. Because they would be too risky and would tie up capital for too long. But short term loans would still be feasible.

One hundred years ago, women couldn't vote. Are we better off now than we were 100 years ago?
-
Contact your state reps and senators to support, or draft a bill for, secession in your state.

You might be surprised to discover how many men have become reduced to emotions in all of their decisions and actions. Check out some of the excuses for men on CNN and MSDNC. All those men and women who voted for and campaigned for wokeness instead of substance: those are not examples of reason triumphing over emotion.
Just saying that the circle is wide.

That is nothing new. History shows that they send in military from another country ( the UN or China) or another USA region that dislikes Texans, like Mexicans or New York city. Send Alabamans to New York and New Yorkers to Alabama or Mississippi.

It's, ahem, interesting to contemplate what kind of reception that troops from New York would receive in Alabama and Mississippi. Them's country boys down there, and they do what country boys do.
I've always said, if a foreign power were ever to attempt to subjugate the United States, the first thing they'll have to do, is annihilate everyone south of Cincinnati and east of Albuquerque. Dixie and Greater Appalachia don't play that.
Atlanta is a great big blob of outsiders plunked down into the middle of the rural South. Ditto for Charlotte. (Due to the universities and research facilities, Raleigh/Durham/RTP is kind of its own thing, always has been.)

Yup. Very good point.
A lot of men have been un-manned.

It would be too awesome if they did, which is why they won’t.
The same fear that has Texas going along with the COVID19 scam, is the same fear that will keep them from declaring independence.
South Dakota on the other hand...

"Wait for the Wagon, the Dissolution Wagon, the South is the wagon, let's all take a ride!"
Hope Texas and members of the Old Confederacy give it another go.
My home Alberta has a growing independence/secession movement party that continues to grow in popularity.
One can but hope.
