Texas recent GOP platform is excellent for a major party

    • They just released this recently. Read through it.

    It has some genuinely good things like repealing Obergefell, making abortion illegal, parents rights in education, school choice and getting rid of gender ideology and interesting like "Texas should secede if it wants to"

    The one major hurdle is their support for Israel. But other than that, the national GOP could learn from this.

    Should be "Texas CAN secede if it wants to."  Unless i am wrong, Texas is the only state with this ability, as it was negotiated before it agreed to become a state.
