MSNBC's Brian Williams and New York Time's Mara gαy, agree that Bloomberg could have given each American $1 Million with the money he spent.

Thursday on MSNBC's "The Eleventh Hour" with Brian Williams:
New York Times Editorial Board Member Mara gαy and the host accepted without question a tweet that (jokingly) said that Michael Bloomberg could have given every American one million dollars with the five hundred million dollars he spent on his short-lived presidential campaign.


Brian Williams said: "When I read it tonight on social media, it kind of all became clear, the tweet read: Bloomberg spent $500 million on ads. The U.S. Population, 327 million. He could have given each American $1 million and have had lunch money left over. It’s an incredible way of putting it."

Mara gαy answered: "It’s an incredible way of putting it, it’s true, it’s disturbing."


In reality, $500 million divided by 327 million Americans is about $1.53 per person.

 
That wasn't even an off-the-cuff comment like Biden saying half the US population died since 2007.
These idiots read the tweet, copied the tweet, worked it in to the production sequence... at least a half dozen people were probably involved in putting this into the program and not a single one thought anything wrong with those numbers??
