Trump Supporter: Generally, if the world hates you, you must be doing something right.
Skeptic: Not necessarily. There were people before in history who were hated and who were evil. Trump may be right in some things or good at some things, but he has a bad mouth and a bad attitude about things and if there is any good in him, you don't see it anyway. I think he's antagonizing the terrorists and militants more in some ways.
Trump Supporter: True, the world hates some evil people too, but the vitriol being leveled at Trump reminds me of the same that was leveled at Ron Paul, or even Pat Buchanan (although the latter was a little before my time), except to the Nth degree. The reason why people not just dislike, but have a seething hatred of him, generally has less to do with his attitude than with the fact that he represents a more traditional, masculine Christian culture, and that unlike Paul or Buchanan, it's looking like a real possibility that he may actually make it to the White House.
And unlike Bush, Romney, etc., he's not beholden to any vested interests. So an unholy alliance of cultural Marxists and corporate interests are conspiring to stop Trump at any cost, even if it means subverting the democratic will of the American people. (Not that they ever cared much for that...)
Trump may be a bit of a blowhard, but he's the best of the lot. It's kind of sad that that's the case, but it is what it is.
