The Catholic teaching against racism and racial segregation predates Vatican II.

Has anybody close to you interbred with colored folks, Poche?  If so, that coupled with your nature may be making you too emotional to think rationally about this topic, and be a good reason for you to recuse out of the conversation.  I sure don't see anyway a person who enjoys a couple of little mulattoes calling him "Uncle Poche," if that's the situation you find yourself in, could be unbiased.

Actually the article that Herzl wrote about Pope St. Pius X left a very positive impression. I got the feeling that Herzl was rather fond of the Holy Father.

Article?  It was a passage from his diary.

Either way, when I read it I got teh feeling that even though the Holy Father didn't do what he wanted he still had a fondness for a figure who was a real father to his people.

Doesn't sound particularly fond to me.
