  • I thought the speech itself was very good, but this is moving to anyone with even an ounce of patriotism.

  • That's a very good video (OP) made from the closing remarks of the SOTU. I think that's why Trump has a good chance of winning in the next election - because he has hope. Despite the terrible problems this country faces, it's good to have hope, rather than Defeatism or Socialism. The Democratic nominees for President can't provide that.

Rather, the kind of hope the Dems may provide is that of the hope of changing the country to Socialism; into something that was never meant to be. Though Socialism does come out of extreme Capitalism, but it's the wrong antidote to extreme Capitalism.

I agree that it's a good video for anyone who has any patriotism at all. I like it. We can still love our country while knowing and being realistic about the problems here.
"It is licit to resist a Sovereign Pontiff who is trying to destroy the Church. I say it is licit to resist him in not following his orders and in preventing the execution of his will. It is not licit to Judge him, to punish him, or to depose him, for these are acts proper to a superior."

Decent video. No doubt Trump is our only option at this point, especially if you're a trad Catholic.

What worries me is the Donald is definetly in the Jєωs pocket and if/when he wins a second term, will he unleash hell against Israel enemies at their behest?. Yes, things are good now and he's made the right decisions most of the time. But things can turn around in a hurry, I've been around long enough to watch these presidents and their popularity swing on a dime, mostly because of a few or even one bad decision. Let's hope and pray Trump doesn't let his ego get the better of him.

Yes, he seems to be in the pocket of a certain segment of Jєωs - the conservative ones - but that doesn't mean they are on the side of real conservatism of course. The leftist Jєωs hate Trump, I think.

Yes, things can turn around in a hurry, but I think that Trump will continue to keep us out of new wars. I could be wrong.
