  • It was a surprise that Cruz won the majority of the delegates.

The Iowa caucuses are strictly controlled by the political
    machine.

An email sent to the Republican voters from the Cruz supporters
on the day of the Caucus to the voters of Dr. Ben Carson claiming
that he was withdrawing from the Presidential race while people
were still voting  swung the election by at lease 5%.
Dr. Ben Carson did not withdraw from the race. Dr. Carson
Complained about this and may take this to FEC that may
after an investigation may overthrow the election results.
The same thing can be said of the Bernie Sanders-Clinton
    results. There was trickery there.

Cruz admitted that he forgot to inform the Federal Election
commission that be received a loan of $100,000 from Goldman-
    sacks for his political campaign.

His wife Heidi works for Goldman-Sacks.

The Republicans are spending hundred and millions of dollars
to defeat Donald Trump. This shows that the Republicans are in
the grips of the one world elites and wants a clone of the
Democratic candidate who pretends to be conservative.

This is certainly a dirty tricks election in 2016.

  • Trump Tweets:

"What he did to Ben Carson was terrible," Trump said. "When they said Ben Carson is out of the race and come vote for him, I thought it was terrible."

  • A legitimate blogger on the ground who covered iowa for I think 12 days full time leading up to the caucus concluded that microsoft committed voter fraud for rubio.  Microsoft either directly or indirectly is financially funding rubios campaign.  This blogger said trump had by far the largest crowds, and that rubio had virtually no crowds in iowa leading up.  So, he is convinced there was voter fraud for rubio.  How else do you explain it.  Quite frankly, I suspect the same went for cruz.

These voting machines are electronic and very easy to change votes and
rigged the election. And it is very difficult to prove.
There was an investigation by Congress few years ago, and the man
who's company made these Diebold voting machines admitted the
    votes can be changed.
It was CNN that started the rumor that Dr. Carson has withdrawn from
the Presidential race as people were about to the vote in the Iowa
caucuses and the email from the Cruz people to the registered
Republican voters to vote for Cruz.
The only time I was a poll watcher was in the 1964 primary election
in California and they used paper ballots.

  • Donald Trump says he thinks he's going to come to Iowa and buy a farm!

Check it and see if Iowa farms just got more valuable!

Here is the last meaningful post on the other thread with the silly name:

I think the reason this article has no down thumbs is because matthew has disabled that function when it comes to him.

This article complains about the fact that Trump has not declared he wants jerusalem as israels capitol (so they can build the third temple and further persecute religions other than theirs).  It complains that he is mushy when it comes to israel.  That "mushy" means that he has not folded or shown his cards when it comes to israel expansion (the 1967 borders question).  And, it complains he will not rescind the iran deal.  And, in my book, those are all good things.

I could most likely pick apart so much in this article.  But, I just don't have the time or the desire.  Perhaps matthew doesn't like Trump because he will likely be able to avert the crash/"back to organic farming" scenario that he is always preparing for.  Matthew might not need those rain buckets or that 1 year supply of food if Trump gets elected.  Other than that, I just don't see the reason to bash Trump.
:applause:  I so agree!   Maybe we all need to gamble now and play the "trump" card.  Our nation is on the point of death!   It's almost like we have to choose the lesser of several evils!

When I imagine what it would be like if Trump were elected president, I get flashbacks of the Reagan years.  I don't think any other candidate can have that effect on what would seem to be our future.

Cruz is a cheat. The good news is that I gather he probably won't win any more primaries.

Oh, you mean the last one -- the one that got the biggest applause.
    The "family man" joke.

Right..  Cut out the most well-received joke in the list and your ratings go up. No?

That's Sachs, RC53, Goldman Sachs (and no hyphen).

Interesting.  The media is howling that Trump's not winning Iowa is "a setback."

But if this winner is displaced in the rest of the primaries, how could that be "a setback" for the guy who replaces him?

  • I feel sorry for Dr. Ben Carson. Even though I disagree with him when  he
claimed that the Pyramids of Giza were built in the time of Joseph for storing
grain. To much evidence to the contrary.

Going into it Trump had an aura of invincibility. Coming out he no longer does. In the end that may be a good thing for him as he and his people realize they need to work even harder.

It is also a setback in that Rubio finished close to Trump and well above expectations. That lets the media spin a story about an establishment comeback, which may net undecided and wavering voters. And if the GOP majors coalesce around a single candidate it will probably be bad for Trump.

Cruz himself may not have much of a future. He worked his tail off to eke out a win in Iowa, where he had a natural advantage with Evangelicals. That advantage dissipates in NH and SC. Now Carson is speaking up about the rotten tactics in IA, and Breitbart is said to be publishing something explosive soon.

Trump still commands big leads in the next few primaries.

  • Here's the first Breitbart piece. There's supposedly something more damaging on the way, though they keep delaying it.

It looks like Cruz's campaign (and who are we kidding, probably Cruz himself) saw an opening and capitalized on an ambiguity, made no effort to confirm the truth, and delayed issuing a correction.
