  • should the governemnt insist that companies doing contracts w/ people make sure the people signing said contracts UNDERSTAND what they are signing?

    absolutely

b/c of this one thing if nothing else:

    youth

when people are young and sometimes even when older, they sign things without reading it

it is sad that a young person can get into HUGE debt that way... Where the governemtn when you need it? that is what govt is for, to protect us from catastrophe and near-catastrophe

  • I have no arguments but not sure everyone agrees

Do some think that if they agree they will appear to be too .. Dem?

well, no one in his right mind would say we should have NO government regulation at all. We have to regulate commerce and etc b/c of ONE thing:

    Human nature

it is corrupt to the core. Businesses would not do what is right if it cuts into profit, unless govt held them accountable
