do you agree with this assertion of Ron Paul against social conservatives like Santorum?
Ron Paul wants the states to decide issues like abortion and gαy marriage. Is that Catholic?

Where did anyone get the idea that Santorum( who defends Sandusky) is a 'social conservative'?

Turning abortion over to the states actually isn't a bad idea, given that banning abortion through the federal level will take some time. I do disagree with Ron Paul that the government should stay out of marriage, though.
Rick Santorum is not a "social conservative". I like to call him more of a neo-conservative.
