I joined a Republican forum, and all I have to say is "WOW - JUST WOW"
-
Yeah all they can talk about is "terrorism, terrorists, and terror." It's ridiculous, and a bunch of distracting ballyhoo.
-
They don't tackle the real issues. (the masonsonic conspiricy, the message of Fatima etc...)
-
Well now, don't ya know they are PATRIOTS!!!
-
Wow, banned already for upsetting a so-called 'Catholic' moderator for being an "αnтι-ѕємιтє".
-
Say whats the name of the forum. I want to have some fun!

They might think that you are a troll if you say that you are a monarchist, since they thought I was a troll because I said I was. Esp. since I just got banned (some people were confused as to why I was banned since I didn't do anything)
-
I got banned from a democratic forum in 20 minutes for opposing sodomy and quoting +Bishop Williamson on the matter! It was:
www.democraticunderground.com
-
Sorry here is a better link!

Hey TheD, I'll need your help shortly on that Muslim forum!
-
They - The Republican Party - don't tackle the real issues. (the masonsonic conspiricy, the message of Fatima etc...)
Thank you Sherlock,
You made me spray my Coke all over the screen and keyboard over this gem.

Coke is disgusting and is made with unfiltered tap water ala fluoride.
Enjoy Coke.

Way to highjack a substanceless thread!
But really, I know Coke is not good for the health but I enjoy it once in a while, and the mere fact that it contains no more no less fluoride then tap water is the least of my worries.

I used to be a republican, but then I learned that they weren't really republican at all.
A monarchy would be nice, I think, so long as His Grace does not get too pushy on taxes and keeps to the running of hte country and doesn't interfere with everyone's lives.

Monarchies always had a lower tax then democracies. In fact, monarchs never really interfered to much with their subjects.

DeMasistre is correct in that the Traditional Catholic monarchies and even the absolutist monarchies of the post reformation had significantly lower taxes when you take into account inflation and the rest because a monarchy is a much smaller government than our system and takes much less money to support it.

I like to refer to them as "patriotards". Once the flag waves, their brain shuts off.

I totally know what you mean here.

I tend to idealize the Middle Ages and the monarchies of Europe but the more I read about them, the more I realize that there was heavy injustice back then too.
Of course Catholicism should always be the state religion. But some of these kings were real cowpats. In the Thirty Years War, Catholic France took the side of the Protestants against Catholic Spain and the Holy Roman Emperor.
Of course if they didn't Spain would have eventually built up momentum and crushed France -- but is that really so bad? I think not. In Spain you work from 12-1 in the afternoon and then take a siesta until five. Then you have a leisurely meal and go to sleep. This is the way all peoples should live! It's obvious that Spain should rule the world. ( I will tell you, we can only be roused, like Don Quixote, for divine missions ).
But it is odd to think of Catholics killing Catholics all in the name of a king. What does moral theology say about such activity? I guess you just forgive your brother as he's ramming a halberd into your throat or pouring hot oil down your shanks. I know where I'd be -- in a monastery.
