Republican RINOs and Democrats Betray American Taxpayers with $1.3 Trillion Spending Bill

March 23, 2018 in News by Slad

US: Republican-In-Name-Only (RINOs) have sold out their constituents once again as they prepare to pass the enormously bloated $1.3 trillion, 2,232-page omnibus budget that they have not even read. It is loaded with hand-outs by big spenders – Republicans and Democrats alike. Politics as usual while the nation staggers under the increasing load. -GEG
The US House approved the $1.3 trillion budget to fund the government through the 2018 fiscal year, allowing all federal services to continue.  145 Republicans (and 111 Democrats) voted in favor of this bill that is a betrayal of the taxpayer and violates promises that so-called conservative Republicans made.  The 2,232 page bill is being rammed through Congress, with only 36 hours to read it, under the threat of a government shut-down after midnight Fridaynight.

House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell have sold the bill on an $80 billion increase in defense investment.  The bill was a BIG gift to Democrats: it limits how many Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents can be hired, it continues funding for sanctuary cities, it fully funds Planned Parenthood, it could allow the number of foreign guest workers with H-2B visas to nearly double to 120,000 seasonal employees, it restricts guns and, finally, lacks border wall funding, which is Trump’s key issue.

It is almost as if Republicans want to give the upcoming mid-term elections to the Democrats who always support more spending.

The bill allocates more than $500 million included for the Gateway Program for a rail line between Newark, New Jersey, and New York City.  The initial funding is the camel’s nose under the tent for bankrolling the entire $30 billion project on the back of the federal taxpayer.

Wednesday’s spending bill will include an additional $4 billion to combat the opioid epidemic.

The Senate and the White House have until Saturday at 12:01 am to pass the bill, or a government shut down will be implemented.

It's been pointed out elsewhere that a spending bill is NOT the same as a budget.  A budget REQUIRES the executive branch (i.e. president) to spend the $ EXACTLY as it is laid out in the bill.  An omnibus spending bill only contains ADVISORY listings of what lawmakers want.  The president is NOT required to spend the $ in any way, nor is he required to provide congress with receipts.  Congress never passed a budget in the 8 years of Obama and no one really knows where the $ went.  The only thing we know is that government kept running and the workers were paid; outside of that, 95% of the money is unaccounted for.

If I can say one positive thing about this, it's that i'd rather Trump have $1.3 trillion dollars than Obama.

that's interesting. I did not know that an omnibus spending bill only has advisory listings. What does that mean? exactly?
But aside from that.. Isn't it interesting how utterly confusing Congress and all that they do is? They do not w ant us to understand things. That would give us more power.
I have been reading non-fiction for years, been watching Fox News for years... yet I did not know what you s ay here... assuming you are being totally truthful..
so... looks like schools need to do a better job. When I was in High school, wasn't taught much of anything about politics or current events.. had to teach myself, which I did because have always liked to read...

Fox news is a private company, controlled by the same people that control Congress.  Again, as you said above, "they don't want us to understand things."

Yes, we have to teach ourselves.  There are plenty of alternative news sites out there.  (X22 report, USA Watchdog, Jim Willie).
Public Schools are controlled by unelected officials who are put into place by the state legislators, who are, as you stated above, also controlled by the same people who control Congress and the media.
Not EVERYONE is controlled; but many.  And most of their own will, because they are freemasons who have sold their soul to satan for money and power.

Ron Paul: Neocons Are Back With A Big War Budget & Big War Plans
Published: March 27, 2018

Source: Ron Paul via The Ron Paul Institute for Peace & Prosperity
On Friday, President Trump signed the omnibus spending bill for 2018. The $1.3 trillion bill was so monstrous that it would have made the biggest spender in the Obama Administration blush. The image of leading Congressional Democrats Peℓσѕι and Schumer grinning and gloating over getting everything they wanted -- and then some -- will likely come back to haunt Republicans at the midterm elections. If so, they will deserve it.
Even President Trump admitted the bill was horrible. As he said in the signing ceremony, “there are a lot of things that we shouldn’t have had in this bill, but we were, in a sense, forced — if we want to build our military…”
This is why I often say: forget about needing a third political party – we need a second political party!

Trump is admitting that to fuel the warfare state and enrich the military-industrial complex, it was necessary to dump endless tax dollars into the welfare state.
But no one “forced” President Trump to sign the bill. His party controls both houses of Congress. He knows that no one in Washington cares about deficits so he was more than willing to spread some Fed-created money at home to get his massive war spending boost.
And about the militarism funded by the bill? Defense Secretary James Mattis said at the same press conference that, “As the President noted, today we received the largest military budget in history, reversing many years of decline and unpredictable funding.”
He’s right and wrong at the same time. Yes it is another big increase in military spending. In fact the US continues to spend more than at least the next seven or so largest countries combined. But his statement is misleading. Where are these several years of decline? Did we somehow miss a massive reduction in military spending under President Obama? Did the last Administration close the thousands of military bases in more than 150 countries while we weren’t looking?
Of course not.
On militarism, the Obama Administration was just an extension of the Bush Administration, which was an extension of the militarism of the Clinton Administration. And so on. The military-industrial complex continues to generate record profits from fictitious enemies. The mainstream media continues to play the game, amplifying the war propaganda produced by the think tanks, which are funded by the big defense contractors.
This isn’t a conspiracy theory. This is conspiracy fact. Enemies must be created to keep Washington rich, even as the rest of the country suffers from the destruction of the dollar. That is why the neocons continue to do very well in this Administration.
While Trump and Mattis were celebrating big military spending increases, the president announced that John Bolton, one of the chief architects of the Iraq war debacle, would become his national security advisor. As former CIA analyst Paul Pillar has written, this is a man who, while at the State Department, demanded that intelligence analysts reach pre-determined conclusions about Iraq and WMDs. He cooked the books for war.
Bolton is on the record calling for war with Iran, North Korea, even Cuba! His return to a senior position in government is a return to the unconstitutional, immoral, and failed policies of pre-emptive war.
Make no mistake: the neocons are back and looking for another war. They’ve got the president’s ear. Iran? North Korea? Russia? China? Who’s next for the warmongers?

The only thing I found myself disagreeing with Fox on (not that all of those people agree all the time..) is when they seemed to be disagreeing on Trump's tariff plans... thought that was kind of un-Fox-like or whatever... definitely seemed un-American
not 100% sure I understand that last sentence in your post... but get the gist of it..

Not all in congress/media/schools/local govt are controlled but most are who are "at the top".  And those who are controlled, are controlled because they ALLOW themselves to be controlled, since they have pledged allegiance to secret societies (i.e. satan).  Once you sign a pact with the devil, he controls you.  But they made the decision to give him control.  Thus, in order to win this fight, which is not against mere men, but as St Paul tells us is against "principalities and powers and the rulers of the world in high places" we must grow Our Lady's army, by pledging allegiance to Her through the act of consecration to Her Immaculate Heart, using the St Louie De Montfort's method.
