Where I live, wearing a MAGA hat or displaying anything in support of our President, and now, since the PA AG's report, of being Catholic, directly exposes one to bodily harm and/property damage, ruined reputation, unjust firing, being socially ostracized.  Last Sunday, a few people were spat upon when leaving Mass to get in their cars.  The incident will never be known because the parish rector "dealt with it," by underhanded means.  True martyrdom is a great grace.  Throwing ones pearls before swine is not.  
Defend the Faith and stand up for one's country when Our Lord's honor requires it.  But think twice before getting a MAGA hat!
