  • “Confronting Putin” is the title of Megyn Kelly’s latest interview.
But “Confronting Kelly” nails it better since Putin throws the real punches.
It’s a pitched battle in a battle of wits. [Clip]
[”If the thirteen Russian nationals plus three Russian companies did in fact interfere in our elections is that okay with you?” “I don’t care, I couldn’t care less.” “American democracy under attack. Tonight, Megyn Kelly’s no-holds-barred interview with Vladimir Putin.” “Why would you allow an attack like this on the United States?” “Why have you decided the Russian authorities gave anybody permission to do this? This is some sort of nonsense.” “Come on.” “Nyet.” “Come on.” “This is all a smokescreen, none of this could have happened without the direct authority of the man who sits in the Kremlin.”]
That’s Richard Haass, head of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Like most Zionist Jєωs he’s afflicted with Russophobia.
Demonizing Putin is like a disease. But physicians heal yourselves. [Clip]
[”An NBC News exclusive, Confronting Putin.” “In the coming days Mr Putin himself is up for reelection. And it is clear burnish his tough guy image. He is projecting power with new supposedly invincible nuclear weapons, symbols that marked our dangerous Cold War standoff.”]
It’s power that’s out of Kelly’s reach and out of America’s range. [Clip]
[”In his last major speech before presidential elections he’s almost guaranteed to win again Vladimir Putin sounded more like his Cold War predecessors warning of a nuclear war, showing elaborate animations of what he called “invincible” nuclear weapons.”]
    Talk about “projecting power.” [Clip]
[”Sarmat is a formidable missile and, owing to its characteristics, is untroubled by even the most advanced missile defense systems.” Applause. “But we did not stop at that. We started to develop new types of strategic arms that do not use ballistic trajectories at all when moving toward a target and, therefore, missile defense systems are useless against them, absolutely pointless.”]
You mean all the money America spent on ABM’s in Poland and Romania was for naught?
How dare Putin interfere in NATO weapon electives! [Clip]
[”Russia’s advanced arms are based on the cutting-edge, unique achievements of our scientists, designers and engineers. One of them is a small-scale heavy-duty nuclear energy unit that can be installed in a missile like our latest X-101 air-launched missile or the American Tomahawk missile – a similar type but with a range dozens of times longer, dozens, basically an unlimited range. It is a low-flying stealth missile carrying a nuclear warhead, with almost an unlimited range, unpredictable trajectory and ability to bypass interception boundaries. It is invincible against all existing and prospective missile defense and counter-air defense systems. Roll the video, please. You can see how the missile bypasses interceptors. As the range is unlimited, the missile can maneuver for as long as necessary.” Applause “As you no doubt understand, no other country has developed anything like this. There will be something similar one day, but by then, our people will have come up with something even better.” Applause.]
That’s a tough act to follow, eh Kelly?
So it’s back to Russophobia For Dummies. [Clip]
[”In our interview, Vladimir Putin continued to deny that the Russian government interfered in the US election. Richard Haass is the president of the Council on Foreign Relations and author of, “The World In Disarray.” “Do you believe his denials on the election interference?” “I don’t speak Russian, but there’s no word in Russian these days for freelancing. The idea that anybody in Russia would’ve done such things as to interfere in the American elections without Vladimir Putin’s personal okay is inconceivable.”]
Give it a break, Haass, there is a Russian word for “freelance.”
    It’s “внештатно.”
    Let’s get this straight.
Some freelancers, flinging a handful of facebook ads, derailed the entire US election process?”
If that’s true, send Mueller to the old folks home. [Clip]
[”Can anyone really believe that Russia, thousands of miles away, with the help of two or three Russians, like you said, whom I don’t even know, that they interfered and influenced the outcome of the election? Doesn’t this sound ridiculous even to you?” “Not at all ridiculous when you learn this. Mr Putin does know at least one of the Russians named in the indictment. According to Mueller, this man, Yevgeniy Progozhin, helped bankroll the cyber-operation used to interfere in the 2016 election.”]
Paleeze. Mueller’s way past his day.
Progozhin owns a bot farm that enabled some Russian “freelancers” with a shaky grasp of English to launch a media marketing campaign
that placed ads on Facebook with trendy political memes as click bait.
    Tech experts call this “shitposting.”
And Kelly keeps flinging the shi…[Clip]
[”It’s not true that you don’t know the individuals who are accused of conducting this. Uh, one of your good friends is actually accused of helping conduct this, his name is Yevgeniy Progozhin. You know him?” “I know that person. But I wouldn’t consider him one of my friends. This is just twisting the facts around. He is a businessman. He is involved in the restaurant business and some other business. But he is not a government official. We don’t have anything to do with him.”
“After you heard that he’d been indicted, did you pick up the telephone and call him?” “Like I have nothing better to do. I have so many things to do and so many problems.” “He’s your friend! He’s just been indicted!” “Didn’t you hear what I said?”]
    Perfectly clear.
But flying into hysterics blinds the eyes, and if Kelly, the Press, Zio Jєωs like Haass, and all kinds of Russophobes, have nothing better to do than to throw US policy into total disarray, they’ll have hell to pay.
    The enemy’s within, not without.
Pulling a speck out of Putin’s eye while a hunk’s in ours is a sign of the Empire’s decline.
Blessed be the Lord my God, who teacheth my hands to fight, and my fingers to war. ~ Psalms 143:1 (Douay-Rheims)

  • Good commentary from Br. Nathaniel.

Though I don't completely trust Putin, I like that he tells it like it is, and isn't afraid to do so with Megyn Kelly.

Megyn Kelly is a liberal Novus Ordo Catholic who is trying to make a name for herself by supposedly confronting Putin. But instead, he turns it around and confronts her.
"It is licit to resist a Sovereign Pontiff who is trying to destroy the Church. I say it is licit to resist him in not following his orders and in preventing the execution of his will. It is not licit to Judge him, to punish him, or to depose him, for these are acts proper to a superior."

    ~St. Robert Bellarmine
    De Romano Pontifice, Lib.II, c.29
