I agree with Lybus and Maizar.

It's also disingenuous of him to disown the views expressed in the newsletters. Those views he disowned are common in paleo-libertarian circles, so in a way he's disowning his most loyal supporters over the years.

It also looks bad when he says that he sent out newsletters in his name without even checking their content.

There are many Jews in libertarian circles, which is one reason I have been skeptical of their ability to act as an authentic counter-establishment. The three libertarians that most libertarians swear by are Murray Rothbard, Ludwig von Mises, and Ayn Rand. All three of them Jews.

Personally, I'm waiting for Emmanuel Goldstein to surface.

I had to look that name up. I got it confused with Emma Goldman and was confused.  :scratchchin:

For completeness: Emmanuel Golstein is a character from George Orwell's "Nineteen Eighty Four", a dystopian novel of a futuristic world in which Big Brother, the personification of a world government, is at war with Emmanuel Goldstein, the leader of the only known resistance movement. Emmanuel Golstein turns out to be fake, and the resistnace movement and its history are manufactured by Big Brother to catch anyone who strays away from total obedience.

Quote from: Maizar
During the Soviet era, especially in the late 1950's, the Catholic Anti-Communist resistance movement within the USSR was heavily infiltrated, supported and, in the end, run by the KGB. People who didn't know this would join the movement, going off to live in forests and barns, and feed the enemy with all the intelligence they needed. This included many priests. They were routinely "discovered" and killed off. However in the early stages of the movement the resistance was real, and there were some heroic battles fought which became legendary among the populace, having the effect of keeping hope alive.

I had the opportunity to meet with witnesses of these events when they were still alive. Those who were not soviet agents understood what was happening early on and returned to the communities, keeping their secrets and laying low - they knew that at that stage there was no point in militant resistance but instead they handed on their knowledge in various ways and supported eachother, including those who had survived their years in Siberian labour camps.

Today of course the former Soviet Union is a different place, and Christians (Catholic and Orthodox) are not persecuted in the same way. The SSPX is thriving in many parts. This should be taken as a sign of great hope for people in western countries and the US. But take note that this scenario only came about after the disintegration of the Soviet Union. And even now one could not say that Russia has been converted or transformed, but things are looking hopeful.

Ron Paul might sound good, but as Lybus says I have to agree there is absolutely no way, not even a chance, that Ron Paul is a genuine saviour for the US. His philosophies and his theories are Masonic, though they are intended for times to come and not the present moment. There is not a thing that can be done to save the situation in the US as it stands except to wait for its collapse (which is imminent and was already planned), survive what follows, and then hopefully rebuild the nation from the ground up, on true foundations.

Couldnt be said better!  There is no political solution to our crisis in this country!
We are in a spititual battle for the hearts and minds of man.  It now has to play out.
