Yep, I believe you’re correct. We’re feeding this ballots into a machine, getting no receipt, and trusting that the machine is accurately recording your vote. Even if they weren’t preprogrammed, they can be hacked to pick whoever the powers that be want to win. 😡
Right. I filled out the little bubbles on the paper ballot and was told to feed it into a machine. This machine did not even display what I had voted so that I could makes sure the "scan" was correct, etc. It just said something like "Your vote is submitted!" That's it. Software could have done anything with that ballot. Of course, even if it had displayed a correct reading of my choices, what guarantee do I have that the software wouldn't just change it as soon as a I clicked the "Submit" or "I agree that these are correct" button? None.
I've seen numerous reports of the machines flipping votes in PA and KY.
