Franciscan Solitary said:
"The ordination and consecration of some ex-Marines and the like might be very much in order, perhaps at the behest of Presidents Trump and Le Pen.  Perhaps some scholarly and erudite bishop such as Bishop Williamson may be induced to do this.  Most of the early Christian saints were Roman soldiers and that might set the best example for our male Catholic contemporaries.  The Emperor Constantine was also a great Catholic warrior saint!"

My response:

Don't make me laugh! Some Trads are so enamored of Donald Trump, they have loosened all their moorings and floated totally away from reality, drifting off into outer space.

We could just as easily expect Ted Cruz to do this as Donald Trump. How can we expect this from some slave to his own basest of passions like Donald Trump, who is also a non-Catholic?

We're not talking about a Catholic like Pat Buchanan here. Donald Trump has the most in common with the Jєωs you claim to oppose!

  • And even then, he's a Presbyterian. They literally do not believe in an episcopate. He wouldn't believe in consecrating anything.
Remember O most gracious Virgin Mary...

  • Ted Cruz is a Southern Baptist. Non Catholic politicians should keep away from the Faith, unless they decide to convert.
