    US President Donald Trump has confirmed that he and First Lady Melania Trump have both tested positive for the coronavirus, just hours after it was learned a senior aide had contracted the illness.
    “Tonight, [the first lady] and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!” the president tweeted in the early hours of Friday morning.

    The first lady said she and Trump were “feeling good.”
    “Please be sure you are staying safe & we will all get through this together,” she tweeted.

    • After all this time and months and months on the road, no mask, no social distance, etc, but NOW he comes down with the virus just 4 weeks away from the election and RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DEBATES. HOW CONVENIENT. ::)

    I guess the next debate will be by zoom or skype where sleepy joe and all his minions can be right there to spoon feed him the answers and he doesn't have to worry about crapping his pantz when Donald is ripping him apart in front of the entire nation. ::)

    We knew they'd come up with some excuse, because their drone cannot handle the pressure. the Deep State will pull out all the stops to get what they want, just short of outright killing Trump (and his wife), but don't sell them short, if that's what it takes, they will surely do it.

    Kind of amazing to me that Trump hasn't been killed already. It may have something to do with some Jєωs (conservative ones) being on his side.

    And maybe something good will come out of the President and wife having Covid. Since they seem fairly healthy, they will likely recover well and quickly. The world won't be able to help but notice that.

    • I wonder if he spread it to Biden during the debate.

    Of the two, I'd wager Trump is the far more likely to come out of it unscathed.

    If he's still ill by then, the debate will almost certainly just be cancelled. Even if he was recovering well, a person sick with the flu is too muddled and tired to debate.

    Biden probably gave it to him.

    Interestinly, I saw a "doctor" on tv say that even though the president is 74 years old and obese, he still has a 95% chance of survival so we shouldn't be too concerned.  Why can't they say that about the general population?

    • This is all very ugly. The test is meaningless and if he were to get further (meaningless) testing like say antibody testing, it would not have come back within 4 or 5 hrs. It makes me believe more and more that Trump and crew are invested  players in this fake charade as well. There is no virus. This is a hoax. Trump looks like he is throwing the election. This is very bad indeed.

    I haven't read in any reports that he's "ill" to any degree. Is he completely asymptomatic, or what?

    It's been reported he has mild symptoms, but that's to be expected honestly. He's in his mid 70s; any flu would leave him out of sorts. Even as a healthy teen I once had a flu that left me feeling like death for a few days, so even if he isn't completely asymptomatic, it doesn't really mean much.

    • I wonder if it's a smokescreen for something imminent to hit America, and Trump is isolated for protection.

    Peculiar he hasn't even made any live comments from his quarantine just to show people he's alright. Considering news like this could hurt the markets.

    • Possible scenarios- far fetched?

    1-Trump and the First Lady fake their deaths from COVID and get out of Dodge to protect their lives from the Deep State- (Kind of like what Epstein did with help from MOSSAD..in reverse)

    2-The Deep State has Trump and the First Lady in custody for a Bolshevik style reception in the Romanov tradition. It will be  blamed on COVID of course. Coup complete

    3-Trump comes out and exposes the fake virus as the catalyst for the takeover of America by the Communists as he and the First Lady are well and can expose the BS with personal credibility and "real" data

    • I think the likely scenarios are:
    .
    1. Staff was maliciously infected.
    2. Test result is false positive, if not an outright lie.
    3. Virus is being used to throw the election. Of course this would mean Trump is complicit.
    4. Trump naturally got the virus and it's just "perfect storm" coincidence that it happened just before the election.

    Most people believe #4, and it might be the case, but the timing of it seems too convenient for me, which is why I favor the other three. Not sure which one I think is the most likely yet, but possibly time will tell.
