Was Trump sending signals by showing himself as Pope and then an American becomes Pope of the Concilliar Church?
.
No, I don't buy this. Trump is going to be not only out of the presidency in 3.5 years, but banned for life from ever being president again due to the "2 election" limit for the presidency that is enshrined in the constitution.
The idea that Prevost was elected as some sort of anti-Trump leader really strikes me as bizarre, first of all because Italians don't care a huge amount about American politicians, and secondly because it would be absurd to elect someone to a lifetime position in order to oppose someone who will term out in less than four years. Especially when you consider that Prevost will likely be in ... whatever office it is that he is holding ... for possibly 20 years.
I think the whole idea that there is some connection between Prevost's election and Donald Trump is just normalcy bias with Americans. I don't think there is any connection between Prevost getting elected and Donald Trump being president.
