Yes, some "Redditors" were already openly talking about how they like the high gas prices, because it's going to effect change(s) in accord with their politics.
They said they'd be willing to endure $10 and $20 gas "for the cause".

Of course, these idiots already live "the pod life" sitting in their small apartments all day in the big city, walking/biking to many places, ordering most of their food and supplies online, doing many of their activities online, etc.

Most aren't even married, much less with kids.

Their shallow existence they call "life" doesn't require gas. They just spend time online, play games, watch movies, walk to big city restaurants, if they're married they are probably a double-income-no-kids, etc.

These bug-men don't understand the impact it already is having on shipping, which does effect them.
But, then again, another excuse to get the autonomous trucks out there and remove yet another part of the human element from things.
