A vocal opponent of gαy rights and same-sex marriage, Cordileone helped in 2008 to draft Proposition 8, California's Constitutional amendment to define marriage as between one man and one woman, and raise substantial sums to pass it. He said, "Only one idea of marriage can stand ... If that's going to be considered bigoted, we're going to see our rights being taken away–as is already happening." In an interview with USA Today on March 21, 2013, concerning the US Supreme Court's then-pending decision on the constitutionality of Proposition 8, Cordileone argued against same-sex marriage, saying that it would harm children. Cordileone personally contributed $13,000 in support of Proposition 8.

In 2009, Cordileone was one of 17 United States bishops to sign the Manhattan Declaration: A Call of Christian Conscience, a docuмent asserting opposition to same-sex marriage, abortion and assisted ѕυιcιdє, and to what signers feel is an infringement on freedom of religion.[citation needed]

Cordileone took part as a featured speaker in the June 2014 March for Marriage, a rally against same-sex marriage in Washington DC, which was attended by several dozen protestors. The event was organized by the now defunct National Organization for Marriage and its sponsors included: Concerned Women for America, The Family Leader, The Heritage Foundation, Human Life International, and the Family Research Council.

On September 20, 2009, Cordileone offered a Pontifical High Mass (in Latin, Missa Pontificalis) at Saint Margaret Mary Church in Oakland. This was the first time a Tridentine Pontifical High Mass was offered in Northern California after the liturgical changes that followed the Second Vatican Council were finalized in 1969.

The bishop seems effeminate…he isnt masculine.

And we all know that San Francisco is queer capital of the world.  He should have condemned devout Catholic Nancy for promoting sodomy too.

In regards to Nancy Peℓσѕι the bishop fails to mention that she doesn’t take care of her district which is poor.  She doesn’t even live in district she is supposed to represent. ( Dummycrats the movie). She has spent 30 years in DC. She and her family has stolen from American people. During lockdowns she was out getting her hair done without wearing a mask.  Her hairstylist was allowed to work while many were not allowed to make a living and were struggling.

Then there is the time when Veterans were locked out of DC while Nancy hosting and partying with illegal aliens.

You previously declared Scalia guilty of dressing “like a fag” when he was wearing a period costume powdered wig.  Cordileone does not look effeminate ... though I’ve never heard him speak.  90% of NO bishops look not just effeminate but look sodomite or otherwise perverted but Cordileone is not one of them.

I agree that he took too long to act and that he should have formally excommunicated her and not just barred her from Communion, but you’re out of control in your obsession with sodomy.
