Oddly the whole debate is surreal..ads on TV, etc state the plan is Govt intrusion and running of health care-yet majority of AMericans are on either/and Medicaid or Medicare-govt programs.....I can tell you first hand that Illegals get Medicaid....I have been forced to approve it (trying to get out of this field, but economy and other concerns make getting out harder).

if they get Medicaid, with Govt invented fake SS#, why would they not get the other plan?

Further, Republicans are rank hypocrites in this...Bush expanded in term #1 domestic govt 43%, including the multi-trillion $$ medicare prescripton plan......guess GOP only likes socialism when it is them doing it, with "comapssion" of course....

Note too how quickly he apologized and grovelled---ah, the "opposition" Party....

In the old days, people actually go t up in that chamber and spoke their minds...som tooted pistols....long gone is the art of plain talk and some humanity......all careful posturing and poses......
