    • OK, since I am talking to myself here... (guess Politics is not the favorite topic or whatever)

    Self:

    There are so many disturbing things going on AND not going on in the world
    What are "we" (Jesus and I) going to do about that?

    there is so much to do, so little time and i don't know how to choose. I guess this is a prayer

    so anyhow... I like watching Fox News to find out what's going on but sometimes I get stuck on.. watching news rather than doing something about what I see there

    so Self...

    (since I am talking to myself only here, I guess)

    what is priority to Jesus? Furthering the Kingdom. Now, how do I do t hat? we, I mean?

    Yes, it's time to get beyond "watching Fox News to find out what's going on".  You are wasting your time watching Fox news/TV.  You'll never get to the truth by watching TV.

    therefore news is not just to disturb. It is neutral... until we subjective humans put some "take" on it

    yes I pray the rosary
    but I fail to see how watching Fox News is somehow a bad thing. I don't take interest in every story, but we should all know what's going on in the capital. It affects us, sometimes dreadfully

    I don't see how you can say that. they do stories on how our religious rights are violated by govt and etc.
    but that said... um.. I sometimes wonder if it matters much which party is in power..
