I found a very interesting post today:

Immediately following the election, I chimed in on a board that I frequent.
It is a board that is related to a hobby of mine and generally never discusses politics. However, this day on that board was vastly different.....
I was stunned by the number of people who refer to obama as the messiah, or "the MAN" and my least favorite, the savior. They were so full of hatred and anger and downright ugliness, it was frankly, frightening in it's intensity. I made a comment to the effect of, "For people who are supposedly so happy, you sure do sound angry"....well that opened the doors of hell and I was verbally attacked in ways I never dreamed of. I am certain if they were able to physically do so, they would have thrown stones. I am sharing one the comments, though I realize this likely serves no purpose. I think I just now realized that the damage that has been done truly will only be able to be undone by the Hand of God.....there were MANY comments like this, but this one speaks for them all. I copied and pasted, so this is verbatim. Oddly enough, I had just read earlier today, that the only thing tolerance will NOT tolerate is intolerance....

YOU are not to decide whether one will have abortion.
Never ever.

I stayed out of the earlier discussion, because I know too little of the elections, though I do have an opinion.
I cannot discuss that.

You are not to decide about abortion, nor your church, or your God, or who-ever.

YOU have to teach your children well and open your eyes. They DO sex!!! Even if your Bible tells them to wait after marriage. THEY DO SEX AND THEY WILL GET PREGNANT. Give them birth controll. Get rid of the preudism!! Get rid of this tunnelvision!!
YOU nor THE POPE have the right to deny a girl protection against pregnancy.
And yes I know what was written in the Bible.

YOU nor anyone in your group is entitled to shoot dr's and nurses on the stairs in front of the abortion clinics.

I have no experience in abortion. I am not angry because this hits me personally.

Let there be no doubt that in any case, Princess would get pregnant "premature", I would at instant clear out my dollroom and welcome the baby. No matter what. If Princess decides to keep the baby. It is HER decision! HERS alone!!

Don't make others live their life to your consent. That is not what is tolerance about, nor is the Bible for that matter.

Tolerance is about accepting that someone has different ideas, even different ways of life than yourself.

If your president allows you to abort, you don't per se NEED to.

And if you think you are right, and I am a sinner if I do abort or undergo abortion, then I will have to explain something when I meet my Creator.

I will have to justfy my own decision, it is not your job to guide me to Heaven.

Get rid of this religious fanatism!! You are not to tell someone how to live his (her) life.
Ge rid of this rigidness, this intolerance.

By the way, I know too many so called (self declared if you want) Christians who repudiate (reject) their daughter after she got pregnant.

Oddly enough, I had just read earlier today, that the only thing tolerance will NOT tolerate is intolerance....

Too true, the biggest thing that struck me about liberalism is that it allows for all beliefs and religions except the one that rejects it.
