  • Why not decal the white house while he's at it?

Like his "brothers" like to do to walls and overpasses

  • The two aircraft that are used as AF1 are Boeing VC-25s, otherwise known as 747s. The aircraft pictured above is a Boeing 757 chartered by the Obama campaign.

In a larger version of the first photo above the aircraft's registration number (N755NA) can be clearly seen. Military aircraft do not have civilian aircraft registration numbers. Military aircraft have tail codes. The two VC-25s used as AF1 are 28000 and 29000. SAM (Special Air Mission) 28000 is pictured below.

I don't like Obama any more than you do but this is ridiculous. Can we perhaps spend a little time fact-checking before we post?

I ditched sensitivity training. Does it show?

  • I can't understand what motivates some "fervent Republicans" to come up with bull#### like this.

    Something along the lines of:

"Let's just borrow the weapons of the enemy for the cause of good...JUST THIS ONCE...after all, it's for a good cause!"

"Let's be EVIL, just like OBAMA HIMSELF, so that we can get Obama out of office. After that's done, we'll go back to being good. The ends justify the means!"

Is this really what the Republican Party has come to?

If SLANDER and LIES is all they've got on Obama, I'm starting to think I should vote for the man! (Not really...fortunately, I know the truth about him. He is indeed a communist Muslim with a shady background. He is unprecedented and without peer among democrats).

I *almost* feel sorry for Obama after seeing slander and lies like this. It really makes my truth-loving Irish blood boil.

I mean, come on! Aren't there enough TRUE things about Obama we could advertise and talk about? Even if he has 40 issues, let's talk about all of them without shame. For the sake of the common good, the truth must out!  But leave that 41st sin -- the one he's not guilty of -- off the list, please.

We're supposed to be the good guys.

Oh, and a little lesson for all of us: the original e-mail forward that "informed me" about this little slander had the chutzpah to mention Snopes!  No direct link, of course...

They know that few people are going to go and look it up for themselves.

Shouldn't a large portion of this anger be geared towards yourself?  I mean you propagate this stuff, and it's not the first time you fall into those traps either. Prior to a little light shining in the thread, you had already convinced Telesphorus that it was a legit argument and how many others which just read on without posting ?

It's not only to fact check.  It's to downgrade and eliminate without delay all those that deceive you and not repost anything from them.  Ever wonder why I never get such lying emails ?  You reap what you sow Matthew.

  • I get such e-mails because I work for TAN books and somehow got on a couple  activist Republican's personal e-mail lists -- they send out about 10 forwards a day. They happen to be Catholic, so they bought something from TAN at some point.

It's usually older/retired people who spam their personal contact list a dozen times a day. And no, none of these people have ever been to CathInfo so I'm not reaping anything I've sown.

And I disagree that I'm propagating this. I do NOT forward this kind of crap on to my contact list. I just wanted to verify it by sharing it with CathInfo -- mission accomplished! As a busy man with 4 (almost 5) children, I don't have time to do the research. There are plenty on CathInfo that are happy to help.

Once it's debunked, people will do a google search and end up on that post on CathInfo, complete with the debunking. How else is the thing going to get debunked? I don't have the e-mail address of everyone "upstream" who started the garbage.

If you disagree with my reasons/truth-sifting process, too bad.

Oh, and this is basically my modus operandi for many other rumors I've posted about in the past.

To take a hypothetical example -- I'm picking something ridiculous here -- If I hear that the government is massing troops in California, you better believe I'm going to post it -- I have plenty of CathInfo members who live there, who might be able to verify/shoot down such a report.

You see, CathInfo is so big, there are members in all walks of life, all sorts of different careers, and who live all over the world.
