  • not always true that crime does not pay

If you have enough money and were once president, you can get away w/ anything

of course you will not get away with it forever, but hey... sometimes life on Earth feels like it is forever...

esp for those of us who do not have $$ and name recognition

but Jesus didn't have much either... so we are in good company, right?

  • Yeah, just ask Jєωs Larry Silverstein, Dov Zakheim, Michael Chertoff, et al, about how crime does pay...
Blessed be the Lord my God, who teacheth my hands to fight, and my fingers to war. ~ Psalms 143:1 (Douay-Rheims)

  • It is not true that crime does not pay. If you do evil in this life and you happen to escape the justice of man you will no escape the justice of God, whose true justice will not fail.

I get mad @ God sometimes looking @ all the injustice.. as if it is his fault!
no, it is NOT listening to him that is at fault... but you know... sometimes the old gray matter doesn't function too well... being human and all

Much of our problems are our own fault. It comes from our own misuse of the freewill that He gave us. Just think, how many problems could we have avoided if we just kept our mouths shut?

I know. that's why I don't socialize much.. or one reason anyway.
still, I have gotten so angry @ God b4 that I know it will happen again in the future. I just know myself and how things go. Why I do this illogical anger at God things is kind of mysterious.. I am not blaming him but just wonder why he doesn't.. answer certain prayers.. and stuff

Maybe the fact that He doesn't answer them or that His answer isn't what you want is an answer in itself.

Sometimes when God wants to lead a soul to a greater holiness he will hold back on giving the consolations that he usually does. Just as he prunes a tree to make it grow better it hurts at first but then later on the tree is much more beautiful.

I know this. Anyone who has walked with Jesus will know this not too far into the journey
But being human means we will not always know it... in our hearts. The head knows, but the heart
    as the Word says
is "deceitful above all things and desperately wicked" (Jeremiah?)
