  • The news today is awash with rehashings of President Trump's news conference this morning from his country club.
    .
I've been a bit surprised that the MSM hasn't managed to put a negative spin on it..... yet.
    .
He was quick to clarify that what he said about his response to North Korea if they were to launch IMBMs toward Guam would be "like the world has never seen before," is "not a threat... but a statement of fact."
    .
They even went so far as to point out that he is speaking in the language that N. Korea's fat boy dictator can understand.
    .
The fat boy has a thing or two to learn, apparently. If the people of N. Korea are lucky, he'll learn quickly, before he makes a big mistake.

    I. North Korea has apparently developed nukes that could reach Guam - a U.S. territory in the Pacific. This has caused our President to threaten them.

II. If they actually attack Guam, that would be bad and possibly a declaration of war.

III. Japan and South Korea who are right there and US-backed would attack rather swiftly.

IV. End of North Korea unless they attack Seoul, which is 30 miles from the DMZ. Then you get World War III.

  • Anyone here speak Korean who can actually vouch for Kim Jong-un or any N. Korean military commander threatening Guam? Or do we have to take the media's and D.C.'s word for it?

    N. Korea is extremely isolated, and it's not implausible that the U.S. accused N. Korea of threats they never made, considering it would be very difficult for N. Korea to disprove the West's accusations because the father of lies and his children control the media.

Remember, the fakestream media slandered and libeled Ahmadinejad with the false accusation that he said "Israel must be wiped off the map", which is a comment proven to be false but still believed by many people because they trust the media.

"Apparently" because they can barely feed their own people and they're right next to South Korea whose own military is massive - almost 4 million in active and reserve forces thanks to the draft.

They're not going to aggravate 3 countries that could obliterate them in an hour.

    .
While the US military obviously has the ability to erradicate North Korea with nukes, that's not going to happen. It would be morally inexcusable to kill all the innocent population.
    .
What is very likely, though, is tactical strikes on all their military installations at the same time, using cruise missiles and other short range guided explosives. The security of the South Koreans across the border has to be paramount. Also Japan's safety is a key factor.
    .
They have been boring tunnels into their mountains for the past 50 years in North Korea so they have a lot of places to hide mobile missiles. But the entrances to these places can be wiped out with bunker-busting bombs.
    .
The little fat boy dictator with the volley-ball head haircut would be making a very serious mistake by launching Intermediate Range Ballistic Missiles toward Guam, even if he announces in advance where they're going to splash down in the ocean before reaching Guam. It would be his last mistake.
