  • Has anyone here read this book by John A. Stormer published in 1964?

If so, have you ascertained whether what he has written is factual?

  • I read it a long time ago, maybe in the 80's.  Now, if you want to know about your questions, read the small paperback "Catholic Prophecy" by Yves Dupont and compare.  Tan published.

It's more pertinent today than ever before.  Some things, like the prophecies about the Moslems, which seemed neither possible or probable decades ago, or even ten years ago, now seem both probable and very possible.

I found a copy among old books I have, and read it again after the Hillary accusations started flying. The title alone was alluring, because today, none dare call what Hillary Rodham Clinton did "treason."  So I went around accusing her of treason in private conversation, and I was alarmed to find that so many people didn't seem to understand what I was saying. I figured that unless they hear it on the mainstream news, they don't process the concept in their minds.

The book has a lot of details in it that I haven't bothered to check, but as I recall there was never any accusation of libel or disinformation against the author. It was promoted by conservative groups at the time, even though it rather "rocked the boat" even in their midst. I think my copy came from my parents' association with the Barry Goldwater campaign for president.

I looked for other books by Stormer and couldn't find any. Maybe this was a one-hit wonder. It went through 8 million copies in about 9 months during 1964, being reprinted two or more times in one month.

An excellent companion book to this one is titled None Dare Call it Conspiracy by Gary Allen.

What's horrifying me is to find out what communist enablers we've been for almost 100 years.

And the very things Obama and Company are doing have been being done at least since the time of FDR.  The only difference between then and now are the citizens in this country.  Back then, they were moral and had a very acute sense of right and wrong.

That's long gone now, and they've been slow boiled into little socio-communists.

  • A 100 years ago, you could run, exile to another country.  My relatives read the letter of the Pope in 1846:  "this is communism"... So, they sold everything and left Bavaria in 1847 on a "floating hell" ship, bed mast.  Took 7 -8 weeks to get to PA.

We have no where to run to.  We are surrounded by communists.  Church was infiltrated, taken over since when, 1940? Before.

Chapter 12 of Daniel states that the continual sacrifice will come to an end.  Matthew 24, Christ tells the apostles, "the abomination desolation"  and refers them to the prophet Daniel.

    All these things will happen...

John Stormer is a well-known conservative author. He founded Liberty Bell Press. I discovered a webpage where you can download "None Dare Call It Treason" in different formats.

    https://archive.org/details/NoneDareCallItTreasonJohnStormer

There is a biography of Mr. Stormer on the same page where it mentions the titles of several of his works, including an updated version of "None Dare Call It Treason" that came out in 1990.

Mr. Stormer is still alive and well. Here's a link to an interesting interview he did a few years ago where he explains (at about 42 minutes) that he was born and raised Catholic in Pennsylvania. He and the host also talk about Pope Francis.

The host also mentions that he is a practicing Catholic and he has a website dedicated to exposing Marxism in the Church: http://religiousleftexposed.com/home/

You are one of the few (and I do mean few - probably less than five if even that much) on the internet that I have encountered throughout the years who seem to be on the ball.

You are right.  There is certainly no place to go to escape from what's quickly approaching.  I laugh at anyone who thinks that moving to such and such a place will keep them safe.  Maybe.  But for how long?  You're just buying a bit of time, but the inevitable will occur, sooner rather than later.

  • Hi Alexandria! I'm doing as well as can be expected in these trying times, thank you.

I hope you enjoy the links and the book. I have about five more paper books and ten or twelve pdf books stacked up waiting to be read so I couldn't do more than just skim over the Stormer one right now, but it looks like a real winner. We need to go back into the past to find out exactly how our whole culture went off the rails and what, besides praying, we can do about it now.

    Take care,

SJT, pray for us in this, our hour of great need.
