I live in Dorchester, Roxbury, mattapan Massachusetts 15 years and did many service calls at 2am in these Boston ghettos. It’s not worse than I think because I lived in it. The common denominator in the worst neighborhoods is a total lack of Catholic culture. The Irish neighborhoods I lived in were polar opposites of our neighbors but no one ever stepped over the line to bring them in. Faith comes by hearing and I can tell you from experience the useless Protestant messages were the only ones even attempting to get in there. It’s a failure by us and proof protestism can not save you because they all wear that empty cross around.
