    • Big reason why Newsom is doing what he is:

    He's term-limited next year. Forever. Other states will let you run non-consecutively but Newsom is done in January of 2027. What does that give you time for? The first presidential primary in 12 years with no Trump, Clinton or Biden. It will be WIDE open. He's definitely planning a run in real time.
