Apparently, NASA doesn't have its own servers, nor does it pay quarterly or anything like that for their web hosting.

They must opt for the "by the week" plan.

As the owner of several websites, I find it ridiculous. You don't lose your website 1 week after loosing your job. Usually your website is paid up for months. It simply doesn't cost much to keep a website up and running. A business should be able to spare a few hundred dollars (or even a few thousand) to have a website paid up for the year.

But this is in-line with what Obama's been doing all over the country -- trying to make a mountain out of a molehill.

I agree, and if we had an intelligent public they would see through his political game. America is dumbed down and addicted to all sorts of sin, so there is no intelligent reaction to this.
