Is this a joke post? I have as much disdain as any Trad Catholic for Obama. He is not the Anti-christ.

If he is indeed (which I find to be highly dubious), then I can say that I am indeed disappointed in Satan- thought he would do better. (Aside from that, it is actually impossible for him to be the Anti-Christ, since it is not the End of Days yet- Ireland has yet to sink into the sea, three days of darkness, period of peace, etc have yet to happen)

Some think that the upcomming dates of 6/6/9, 6/9/9, 9/6/9 and 9/9/9 will be significant. Also on 6/21/9 it will be exactly 3 1/2 yrs to Dec 21, 2012.

What Pope was involved in adultery? A few Popes had girlfriends or were married b4 they took Holy Orders, but that doesn't count. I am not even sure if the stories of Alex VI having a girlfriend are true-- Savanarola was a lunatic.

Now if atni-popes like Boniface ar Urban VI are considered then I would agree.

I would still like Bill to give us some specifics of his allegation rather than an abstract. Who was tortured with the above equipment and why?

Except that politicians being pawns goes back MUCH further than 100 years. In the case of our country, try going back right to 1776. Even Abraham Lincoln was an atheist whose wife dabbled in black magic, and it was HER ambition that led him to go into politics -- yet we call him a hero... Ay yi yi.

Interestingly, Fr. Vincent Miceli discussed the techniques of Saul Alinsky (Obama's mentor), a "community organizer" in his book "The Antichrist." (1982)

So far we have seen Obama very deliberately attempt to profane and pervert Christianity, with willing collaboration from "Catholics."

Recall from the campaign when Obama was introduced with the remark:

"Jesus was a community organizer."

Obama has also mentioned the writings of the heretic Joachim de Fiore, which is very suggestive.

I think the Antichrist will be someone much more impressive than Obama. Still, there are many preceding types of the Antichrist, and certainly Obama seems to qualify as one.

Raoul76, Marx and Engels were well pleased with Lincoln. In letters written during the time of the cινιℓ ωαr they realized that he had started the ball rolling in what has come to pass today. Communism. I even learned that Marx was writing in articles in American newspapers of the day. Simply amazing how they do not see Lincoln as a tyrannt. Even more so how they still hold to the lie that the war was started by Lincoln to free the slaves. People stay ignorant because it is easy and they are lazy.

He's not Obama. Forgive me if I said this somewhere already. Obama is just an ominous Jack O'Lantern nightmare vision of our times, which are replete with ominous visions. I think of him more as an occultic totem for the communist elite. He has no power in himself but merely poses with a pen in his hand or phone glued to his ear, pretending to be busy. No politician has the slightest importance or makes any decisions. All the decisions have been made long ago.

I know someone who thinks that the Antichrist and Man of Sin are different -- the Man of Sin was Montini and the Antichrist was Wojtyla. He may have a point. In the Apocalypse there are TWO "beasts," both of whom are often called "Anti-christ."

I agree with this man that the Antichrist is in the past. Very few think that. Most are still expecting the Hollywood version of Antichrist that everyone has in their heads -- strutting around and martyring Christians like Nero, or a gangster out of Goodfellas. Maybe John-Paul II seems anticlimactic to them, I don't know.

Addendum: What they don't seem to realize is that Anti-Christ wants souls, not bodies.

The Protestants, already deceived, think that they will know the anti-Christ on sight: "I won't take the Mark of the Beast! I'll stand up for my faith! They won't put a microchip in me!" Luther already put a microchip into them.

I actually think the Mark of the Beast was Lumen Gentium, since this docuмent defines the religion of MAN -- 666.

The mark in the "forehead" means that people have accepted idolatry in their minds. The mark in the right hand is symbolic because the hand in Biblical terminology represents the way that Christians are caught -- Jesus catches the apostles in his hands after they walk on water. And the left hand is associated with witchcraft, while the right is associated with God.

Since Lumen Gentium tried to destroy the Church Militant and made all religions more or less equal, there is no way to convert anyone to this fake new brand of Catholicism, no way to take them in your HANDS. Those staying in Vatican II thus have a marked, or ineffective and lame, right hand and can't catch any fish.

Just my theory. I may not be right, but the idea that the mark will be a bar code or microchip is a load of horse caca fit only for Protestant conspiracy-theorists of low degree. This is rich symbolic language we're dealing with.

True, Catholic teaching is generally understaood that anitchrist is a Jєω..oops, no ecuмenical :rolleyes:
