  • Romney Unfurls

    October 11th, 2011
WARNING: EXTREMELY GRAPHIC: Here’s a video that all Romney supporters should see.

In fact, go ahead and send that to anyone you know who supports America’s wars. Do you know any young people who want to sign up to serve the American empire? Go ahead and CC them too.
    While we’re at it…
Are there any Obama supporters left? Make sure that they know what they’re voting for. It’s right there in that video.
    Via: AntiWar:
Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney made his first major foreign policy speech Friday at The Citadel, a military college in the important primary state of South Carolina. Full of pomp and belligerence, he called for a century of American dominance.
“This century must be an American century. In an American century, America has the strongest economy and the strongest military in the world,” Romney said. “God did not create this country to be a nation of followers. America is not destined to be one of several equally balanced global powers. America must lead the world, or someone else will.”
Romney condemned what he called an isolationist tendency from the tea party conservatives and other Republicans that dare dissent from the pro-war ideology of the party.
“This is America’s moment. We should embrace the challenge, not shrink from it, not crawl into an isolationist shell, not wave the white flag of surrender, nor give in to those who assert America’s moment has passed. That is utter nonsense,” he proclaimed.

  • Mitt Romney believes fervently in a god who taught Joseph Smith to sew magical underpants for his followers. He believes that his god, his 'jesus' and Joseph Smith will be the ruling tribunal at judgment and people will be required to know the Mormon (read: Masonic) handshakes and passwords to get into eternity and inherit a planet of their own (in the case of men).

Mitt Romney is nuts. His policies are nuts.

Honestly, I don't even bother deciding which major candidate should get my vote anymore. I simply look for the person, whoever they are, that is aligned most closely with what the Church and the Bible teach and I either vote for them or I give a write-in vote for someone else.

The idea that the person the majority of people vote for is necessarily the person who will get in is ludicrous. We have seen time and time again that the government of this nation is in the hands of men and women who twist and break the laws of the land to suit their own purposes.

It amazes me that ANYONE who calls him/herself a 'christian', let alone an actual Roman Catholic, can still be fooled into believing that participation in the modern political system is EVER going to bring about God's intended purpose for men. It simply won't happen. St. James tells us that 'the wrath of men worketh not the righteousness of God'. If the war-mongering of men cannot bring about God's purposes, then obviously neither can their corruption and double-dealing in the election arena.

Vote for a traditional Roman Catholic, if there is one, or write in St. Thomas Aquinas or someone, but certainly don't throw in with a non-Catholic and waste your vote. It's my opinion that if we vote for the lesser of however many evils, we are still volunteering to participate in their evil all the same.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help, pray for us.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
This evil of heresy spreads itself. The doctrines of godliness are overturned; the rules of the Church are in confusion; the ambition of the unprincipled seizes upon places of authority; and the chief seat [the Papacy] is now openly proposed as a rewar

     :laugh2: magical underpants

I actually campained with his people and met him, spoke to him on several occasions, he's actually a wonderful person. Not all his political ideas are bad! Personally at this point...whoever can get our country out of the hole it's in, is what matters at this point. Unless a good Catholic decides to run.

  • Watching this video made me sick, really.  Then I cried for this young man, who went on to lose both legs, an arm, and who knows how much of his face.

Why is the U.S. doing this to our young men?

May God have mercy on Chazray Clark, the young man who was wounded in this video.

The U.S. Military is in a big ol hurry to abolish "Don't Ask/Don't Tell" but they are sure aren't in a hurry to change it's Medevac policies.

    (Go to Michael Yon's blog)

What kind of country sends it's women to the front lines to die or worse--to be raped and tortured?  What kind of country sends its young men to fight a war with no purpose just so they can be left on the battlefield to die?
