There is a story on the internet (not cited by Brooks but just to let you know)that McConnell made a lot of money off the Obama Admin’s policies (Wall Street buying and selling based on his knowledge of “things” due to his position in Congress).So, yeh, right, we should trust him w/ Trump’s (the American people’s) agenda? And frankly I am disappointed in McCain, even though I can sorta relate to what he has to say about the healthcare issue. . I mean, I don’t know everything there is to know about health care in America; only God does. But I have been diligently following this issue for years, and I watch news on a regular basis. I also read the Wall Street Journal at times—have to admit I have not been doing so of late (very busy..). I'm just trying to make the point that I know a little of what I am tlaking about... maybe more than most "everyday" AmericansI was having a hard time—as many Americans do—trying to understand all the rules Congress goes by in the process of voting on this or that bill… But things started coming together like a puzzle nearing completion… when I heard Mo Brooks of Alabama on Fox News earlier, who says --among other things-- that mcC should step down and etc…. One thing I really got enthused about was that Mr Brooks saying that someone like Ted Cruz should take his place! Gee, I have been thinking that for years now! Another thing was the 51 vote thing. It used to be you usually needed 60 votes to get something passed but “they” are using the nuclear option on other things, which means a simple majority (51). We got Gorsuch 2 the Sup Ct w / the nuclear option, but... we cannot get the disaster of Obamacare repealed using the same nuclear option?! Give me a break!
We have 52 Republican senators and so, yes, we can Repeal Obamacare! I am not thrilled with what is called the skinny repeal but geeze, it’s a start…
