2.  If money's changing hands for anything other than payment for a tangible good or service, it's a confidence game.  In which case;

  • Manchin/Kennedy 2024.

    A viable Democratic alternative to Trump, to some extent pro-life, they'd walk away with it.  They'd have my vote.

    And two Catholics, yes, I know, Novus Ordo, not sure about RFKJr's marital status (i.e., annulment, yes or no?), not to sound averroistic about it, but being the chief executive (or in line of succession to it) doesn't rely upon one's marriage being valid.  Not many people refused to vote for Reagan or Trump on account of it.

    Trump is arguably validly married to Marla Maples, not clear Ivana and Donald were married in the Catholic Church (Ivana is Catholic), and not clear about the status of Ivana's prior marriage.  And just from the standpoint of a discerning straight male, Marla is the most attractive of his three consorts.

  • Hoo boy....  Lots to unpack there.

    I don't vote.  Lots of reasons... I'll get into them if you want.

    As to Democrats... No one enters that arena and gets out clean.
