  • Just heard Trump's economic speech in Detroit and it gave me chills down my spine.   I know he is not a good public speaker but I'm an optimist.  He sounds like a union man defending the common man.  Could be all bullsh-- but he is saying the right things.

    Please qualify this.  I, for one, never liked Carter, Clinton, Bush--either of them, or Obama.

    The last president I thought had any decency at all was Reagan, and, frankly, I wasn't real thrilled at the time.  The candidates prior to Carter were before I was actually thinking about politics at all.

    The last, and perhaps only, candidate I ever had any enthusiasm about was Buchanan...Pat, not James!
