Milo is such a mixed bag for me. I had to unfollow him on Gab because he was being so uncharitable about midwesterners. At times he seems like a Catholic, especially given that he's supposedly turned away from his sodomitical lifestyle, but other times he really plays the Jєω and trolls everyone.
I think some of his articles on CM have been pretty good.
Where Milo is concerned, you have to take him for what he is, and as they always tell you, when they're trying to gaslight you about abusive speech by others, "consider the source". He's outrageous and he means to be. (Not suggesting his speech is abusive towards any of us here, just using the concept.) He is basically a flamboyant, somewhat bitchy gαy guy. He's declared himself to be celibate, and that's much of the battle won, but I seriously doubt he's ever going to be the kind of guy who fires off rounds, eats greasy cheeseburgers and fries, and smashes beer cans on his forehead. If gαy people can just cut out the sodomy --- as he claims he has, and I believe him --- I can cut them a lot of slack. Milo, like all of us, is a work in progress.
I was reading the CM conference speakers' list this evening, and believe me, I'd be there if I could. Get a cozy suite in a hotel downtown, take my family, make sure my son has his Wi-Fi, make sure my mother has her daytime TV, boiled eggs, sausage biscuits and coffee... no, not workable, but it'd be nice if it were.
