    • "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane recently caused a stir when a character with Downs Syndrome said that her mother was "the former Governor of Alaska."

    Liberals everywhere howled with laughter at the swipe not only at Sarah Palin, but more directly, a swipe aimed at 2-year-old Trig Palin, who was born with Downs Syndrome.

    Don't look now, but MacFarland and composer Walter Murphy have earned a Grammy nomination for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics.

    All at the expense of a disabled little boy.
