    • Liberals are going to treat this as a travesty of justice and further proof of how evil Trump is.  They will use it to justify even more outrageous behaviour.  I expect them to become more violent and irrational.  I will not be surprised if it leads to political assassinations.

    I will be nice if it reduces the number of babies murdered, but, like 2Vermont says, I'll believe it when I see it.

    I think at minimum we'll see that state-level laws restricting abortions will no longer be overturned by the Supreme Court.

Which is the last step before confirmation. His case moved out of committee and all the news outlets ignored the fact. He says that after confirmation, the Liberals (Feinstein, a Jєω, is one of the worst enemies of the truth) are going to get all the more vicious against Trump, hoping to derail his support base in anticipation of the November elections because now they're facing a LONG TERM loss of the Executive branch, both houses of Congress and the Judicial branch: absolutely intolerable. (for them)

    Agree.  I don’t think they’ll do a 180 and ban abortion at the federal level, but hoping they will say it’s a ‘states rights’ issue and that the Feds will stay out of it.  At least 20 states would ban it immediately and the rest will be in for decades of fighting.  That is much better than what we have now!

    I think there was. I NEVER expected Collins to vote for him. She was always a solid pro-abort. I'm really shocked that Flake didn't flake out. Merkowski didn't have to vote "present" to balance out that Republican who went to his daughter's wedding......If John McCain were still in the vicinity, (and he was still around after the nomination), he would have voted against as well.
    I don't think the demonrats would have gone to such ridiculously outrageous lengths if they felt they didn't have a chance to shut Kavanaugh down. I think they wanted to get the libs riled up enough to make him withdraw. They never thought they would get to a straight up or down vote. there was a lot more at stake to the libs with Kavanaugh being the swing vote for conservatives, 5 to 4.
