He has a lot of cojones running in a major congressional election when nearly his entire party despises him. If I lived in his district, I would vote on those principles alone.
70 years old and going strong! His phone rings practically non-stop with stupid and very vile/obscene hate calls with a sprinkling of death threats tossed in between. His property has been seriously vandalized. (His dear resistance Trad Cat wife prays for his conversion to the Catholic faith day in and day out. She can be seen in the background at the very beginning of the above video.)
Early in life Jones realized that the John Birch Society was a controlled opposition at best and walked out. (

DeLallo -- not surprisingly out of print under the new and unimproved and PR branded SSPX -- contains very possibly one of the best detailed exposes ever on the JBS.) My personal opinion is that Jones finds it hard to convert to Catholicism due to the horrendous non-stop scandals going on inside the Conciliar Church. I think he also feels a bit befuddled when he sees all the infighting going on among the Trad Cats. (I personally believe he will receive and accept the grace of a conversion to the Catholic faith before he dies for which I continually pray since I have known him for almost 20 years.)
