I'd take 4 terms of Obama before I'd have one of Trump. I don't like either one all that much but I've become very wary of Republican fiscal and foreign policy.

If there were a center-right candidate who was to the left on fiscal policy, to the center-right on social issues (opposed the necessary evils, but constitutionally, recognized his limits) and got the troops out of everywhere else, he'd be PERFECT. But that will likely never happen.

You were already firmly in the Cruz camp, I'm pretty sure. Would you mind posting what you think are the best two or three points Oliver made? We'll see how they fare without a leftist laugh track.

1. What makes you say that? I haven't talked much about politics on here, unless you count posting articles bashing Trump a few times.

I think I just caught you taking short-cuts, rashly assuming, and stereotyping me.

2. How about you take apart *any* of his points.

The only point he exaggerated about was the "what's the matter, ashamed of your heritage?" line, because it wasn't Trump that changed his name, but an ancestor. The Jєω that Trump criticized actually changed his name personally.

But I thought he made some really good slam-dunks in that video, which is probably why it went viral.

How about this one Graham -- the one about "I use lots of big words" and Oliver responded with something along the lines of "The largest word in that sentence was literally WORDS."

Also, Trump's net worth is quite nebulous; apparently based on his own feelings that day about how great he and his brand are. And he denies ever having been bankrupt, then they interview his daughter where she relates a story where her dad (Trump) said: "See that homeless man there? He's richer than me, because at least he has a net worth of zero. I'm millions in debt."

And Trump is such a wildcard, with so much of his real beliefs a mystery, I'm convinced he could do ANYTHING. He's a loose cannon. As my wife pointed out in another thread:

I don't think there are any Republican's left that this doesn't apply to. (She was referring to the topic of "fighting kike wars")

With Rubio you get US troops on the ground in Syria.
With Cruz you get carpet bombing.
With Drumpf, ISIS mothers, fathers, wives and children get taken out too... bring on the war crimes!

See what I mean? He's as bad as electing Hillary.
