About the treatment of the Church, they say that some priests were treated badly and even killed, but one thing I learned in my limited experience with historical revisionism was that during the time of World War II many Catholics from countries such as Spain and Ireland and even France, enlisted into the German army with Catholic priests as chaplains and they saw the fight against the Russian Communists as a sort of holy Crusade against the manifestation of evil that was Communism. So there are two sides to tell. But I am no expert on history, I don't trust mainstream history or anything I ever learned in public school or saw on TV. But that is also a bias. And here I thought Hitler was evil because he turned Jews into soap and lampshades, but now I learn he was evil because he taxed the rich and gave to the poor and had state control over parts of the economy.
