Jim Stone: McConnell may impeach Trump

  • Who is Jim Stone?

Stroppy Me quotes from Jim Stone @25:15 that Senate Majority Leader McConnell may attempt to impeach Trump during the Christmas vacation when almost all Senators will be on vacation. All he needs is a small minority of Democrats to do the dirty deed. Remember that McConnell has never been a trustworthy Republican. A look at his political donors shows that he has been on the take from Monsanto, Big Pharma, and the rest of the wicked bunch.

We need to pray and advise the Republican Senators, especially Senator Cruz to beware.

Ask yourself why McConnell does not want Adam Schiff, the Whistleblower, Joe Biden, and Hunter Biden to testify at the Senate Impeachment Hearing as presidential witnesses?

Below is the Stroppy Me's. Again, the time is 25:15.

    Lord have mercy.

  • I do wish some of these people would ACTUALLY READ the Constitution.

The formal act of Impeachment (similar to an indictment) is brought by the U.S. House of Representative, so neither Senate Majority Leader McConnell nor the Senate have anything to do with that.  If and when the House of Representatives votes to impeach the current President (which they haven’t done so far) the Senate will conduct a trial, with representatives from the House acting as prosecutor, the Chief Justice acting as the presiding judge, and the members of the Senate acting as a jury.

In any organization parliamentary procedure (with Robert’s Rules of Order generally used) requires that a quorum be present before business can be conducted.  The “Standing Rules of the United States Senate” (the Senate has the authority to establish these rules from Article One, Section 5 of the constitution), requires that a majority of the senators be on the Senate floor for a quorum to be present.  If the Senate is sitting in session to hear an impeachment brought by the House the constitution requires that two-thirds of the senators present must vote for conviction.

So, Mitch McConnell can’t (either himself or as part of a group of senators) impeach the President, that can ONLY BE DONE by the House of Representatives.  If the inaccurate story was attempting to imply that Mitch McConnell might try to remove the President (if and only if the House has actually impeached him, which they haven’t done yet) by Senate trial “during the Christmas vacation when almost all Senators will be on vacation”, well that won’t work either.  A majority of all elected senators would have to be on the Senate floor for a quorum to be present, and two-thirds of those would have to vote for conviction.

For everyone's reference: The Constitution of the United States

  • It is apparent that McConnell has turned and is supporting Trump.

I do not believe that Jim Stone's opinion has any weight.

  • I bet that the Mossad has plenty of dirt on McConnell. I heard that he is gay.  He may have made trips to Epstein's Island
where lots of photos and videos were taken of him.
I will not be surprised because that is how the Federal Reserve Act was pass during the Christmas recess of 1913.

    "Who" indeed!

So what is "Stroppy Me"?  A Web site devoted to sandals?

Whatever it is, and "Jim Stone", are so grossly ignorant of the U.S. Constitution that they should be regarded as having permanently disqualified themselves for any credible attention on political issues.  Most fundamentally, impeachment[†] is not a power granted to the U.S. Senate[‡]!

Sadly, even the act of uncritically posting the above also discredits ‘Maria Regina’.

  • Unemployed Republicans is my favorite band.

Because that's what will happen to any GOP congressman up for reelection in 2020 if they vote to impeach.

Exactly. And those GOP Senators who dare to vote against Trump during the Senate Impeachment Trial might find themselves unemployed and dumped by their own electorate. Senator Collins might survive only because she is in a liberal state.

Basically, this will be an opportunity to cleanse the House and Senate of any Obama-era renegade deep staters.

    Lord have mercy.

  • I'm so happy to see that people are still taking Q seriously. I was beginning to think that some people, anyway, were starting to back away from believing those delightful reports about Obama and Hillary and Soros and friends having been incarcerated in Gitmo for about six months by now.
