Is there a list?

  • I will be voting for the first time in the midterm elections this November and was wondering if there is a list of candidates endorsed by president Trump or some other reliable source for Michigan.

I have read that Obama put out a list and was hoping that president Trump did or will do the same. Otherwise, I have no idea who the heck is even running.  I can only stand watching TV for a few minutes and hate all the stupid politician commercials that amount to pretty much nothing worthwhile.

How do you all know who to vote for anyway?

  • Depending on your state, I’d do an internet search on “pro life” or “family values voting guide”.

When in doubt, vote Republican. Unless you have some local race where you have personal knowledge of some exception to the rule.

The democrats act and vote as a bloc, under the demonic direction of party leaders like Nancy Peℓσѕι. They only vote against their party when it won't make a difference in the outcome (unlike Republicans, who are willing to vote differently than their fellow Republicans, even if it means a different outcome!)

If you know of another McCain, feel free to vote against him. But I don't know of anyone else just like him.

A vote for Democrats is basically a vote for lowering the level of discourse in politics to emotion, fear-mongering, lying, and "the ends justify the means". And their not-so-glorious "end" is a Globalist world where there is no distinction EVEN ON EARTH between nations, genders, or religions. They want to take all the colorful variety in the world  and smear them together into a single diarrhea green-brown. They don't like God's order; they want to impose one of their own. Basically turn everything completely upside-down.

The exception, by the way, has to be a so-called "third party".  I believe that one cannot vote for a Democrat for any office without committing MORTAL SIN.  A vote for a Democrat is always a vote for Satan.

On the other hand, voting for a Republican can also be a bad vote.  It may be that the Republican is the "lesser of two evils", and if it is, one could morally vote for the Republican.  However, one would not be obligated to do so.  As silly as this sounds, a good place to start is the candidate's own website.

Personally, I never vote in an uncontested election.  We have some local offices (i.e., county sheriff, recorder, surveyor, and a couple of others) in which there is only one person running.  If that person doesn't vote for himself or herself, she doesn't deserve to be in that office.

In national offices, I will tend to vote for the Republican.  For State and local offices, I pay attention to what's going on in the news and make decisions based on what I know is happening.  If I don't really know anything about the candidates (for example, the local school boards) I don't vote in that particular election.

If your State has already had it's primary elections, the November, the national office candidates are already set.  President Trump has already made his recommendation to you:  Vote Republican or else the Democrats will try to destroy the country--and he's right.

Agree.  The "voter guides" are usually very helpful for the local races, some of which aren't affected by parties (i.e. judges and city councilmen).  For the national races, just vote republican.

p.s. the voter guides are also VERY helpful for the primaries - when you're deciding between 2 republicans, for example.  But since all of the primaries are over, we're left with Republican vs Democrat, so vote Republican.

    Huh?? I don't follow.
What you typed here doesn't make sense to me.

I understand that some races are uncontested, but could you explain the rest of it? Why is it necessary that a candidate vote for himself? How is it the candidate's fault there is no opposition at his re-election?

  • The pro-life and family values issues are the MAIN REASON that every serious Catholic needs to be voting in every election.

Before Trump, I'll admit that Bush was bad in a different way than Clinton. But at the same time, there are/were battles going on in various areas where things were getting better (or worse) on a year-to-year basis thanks to various skirmishes and battles.

But today with Trump's campaign (together with "the Patriots") to unseat the Deep State, it's more important than ever for Catholics to DO THEIR DUTY and vote for the good guys.

Even if the bad guys make a comeback eventually, and the world is as bad off in, say, 2035 as it was in 2015, isn't that worth getting off one's butt for? Who couldn't use X more years of freedom, relative peace and good times, and time to prepare?

Men literally died so that we could be free and vote. Why squander that?

I don't know about you, but I want to delay WW3 and/or a nightmare totalitarian police state as long as possible. I'll choose 2020 over 2018, 2025 over 2020, and so on. I'll take whatever delay I can get!

In my State, all he has to get is one vote to win.  If a candidate doesn't believe in himself enough to cast that one vote, why should I believe in him?

Before the primaries, I research candidates mostly by reviewing recommendations from the Texas Homeschool Coalition and/or visiting their individual websites. In the general elections, I just mark the "R" box. If there were a serious independent candidate running in my area, I'd look into them, but that doesn't usually happen here.
