  • It reminds me of what St. John Bosco was doing.

Cf. this to LA County Jail, the largest in the world, of which Jesse Romero wrote in The Devil in the City of Angels (at least in the Mentally Ill Offenders Unit, which had the worst criminals): "Most of them had satanic tattoos and satanic bibles along with pornography in their one-man cells." and one "had a ‘satanic bible,’ which he read every day, and a stack of pornographic magazines about two to three feet high."!

  • Thanks for sharing, that's impressive. Add the spiritual dimension - catechism, Mass, confessions, the Rosary, spiritual conferences and imagine how you could re-create society.

  • This is the standard to which all prisons should strive.

The first docuмentary you listed seems less biased than this one by European press.
Sure, there are going to be innocent convicts, but that's why there's the General Judgement.

  • Capital punishment would solve so many problems, and help get some of these poor abandoned souls to Heaven.

    Assuming they're repentant.
Many or most of these prisoners are satanists who wish to join their demonic father by death; thus, not being executed may actually be more medicinal for them.

  • This docuмentary (@16:46) interviewed one of the worst ones, and he said he's sorry for his crimes and hopes God forgives him, so he certainly seems ready to die. Too bad El Salvador outlawed the death penalty (except for war crimes) in 1983 (same year Wojtyła promulgated the pansy '83 code). MS-13 arose in the '80s, too.

  • If the sentence of death makes them repent, it's best they be judged in that state rather than remain in prison for decades where they could fall back to their old ways.

If the sentence of death doesn't make them repent, it's best they be removed before doing more harm.
