I guess the filibuster was dispensed with to get Gorsuch through but he got 54, not 51 votes.
not sure that makes a big difference as concerns the thread i posted some time ago vis a vis health care... but didn't want to perpetuate a falsehood accidentally/uninentionally.
The thing is, it was not 60 votes, as it once was (that was required to become Sup Ct Justice).
The Sup Ct nomination is very important. But isn't a good health care system also important? No. Congress gets an exemption from o/care.. which explains why nothing has been accomplished.
And susan collins... She is a plant for the Democrats. She needs to come out of the closet as a Democrat herself. Ditto others who obstruct and want to keep O/care in place. They should be ashamed of themselves for essentially hating the American people so much (and no, i do not think those are extremist words).
