I am sure the Democrats would go along with that idea. But another idea is that everyone could pay 1 or 2 % of their income on some kind of basic health insurance policy, and the insurance companies could be forced to accept people who, b/c of hteir income, would only be paying something iike $10 a month? The dang insurance companies would get paid b/c of the other people who pay so much more than that (yet still only pay 1 or 2 % of their income on a policy)

I think that's a good idea. Tell me where i am wrong...

(some people here will undoubtedly be staying up all night and half the morning attempting to do just that. People love to find other people "wrong"... one of the sick things that happened, apparently, when we fell from grace ... Adam and Eve if you don't get my drift)

those on Disability.. you know, we could just get rid of Medicaid by cutting the Disability checks by 1% if we did this. But the Disabled would not be losing anything (just $7 or $8 a month). They would be gaining good health care, the same kind of care the rich get.

yes, get rid of Medicaid. Wouldn't that be great? Everyone getting the same level of care? I think I should run for Congress, don't you?  :-\
