Every Republican I know of hates Obamacare.

Well, there's that nutty Murkowsky chick from Alaska.. But in any case, I am not buying it that there would be insufficient votes if this were brought to a vote. What is being voted on Tuesday?

anyone know? There are probably 3 different versions of the R bill.

  • Always, always, always remember - "When something don't make sense, a buck'$ involved."

As it is, obama's un-affordable health care scam must be bringing in giant dollars to the crooks. As we can see, the crooks are not about to vote for anything that costs (loses) them money.

yeh, you can't help but be cynical when you look at this debacle in DC. It is always about money. I totally understand Rand Paul saying the new R plan is not much better than Obamacare. Some say it is worse even, at least in some ways. It seems this thing is separating the sheep from the goats, meaning that the real Republicans are being separated from the rinos. the real ones know that it should be repealed PERIOD-End-ofSentence
The real Republicans know that to do otherwise is essentially allowing govtment to have control/maintain control of healthcare. The only thing I do believe the government should do is help people get catastrophic coverage if they cannot afford it, and help people w/ pre-existing problems. Pre-existing problems like cancer can wipe out all your savings, so I don't see what is wrong with the taxpayer's spreading the cost around to help those with such condtions. The problem is that like all gov programs, the definitions will "expand" to things not now considered catastropic or whatever..
I don't know... Sometimes the more you think about some complicated topic, the more complicated it seems---- but then again the Rs have had 7 yrs. They voted to repeal in 2015 and now the same ones who voted for that are (not al) voting for it again. I am sick of those kinds of people. Just repeal the dang thing. Or, as Trump said recently, just let the stupid thing implode (die) or however he said it. It is almost dead (O/care) right now. I say it is dead b/c many counties in the US only have one provider.. certainly that is violating monopoly laws? I don't know
