  • That's not true. I did not use it in the plural. I called in the "Book of Revelation". And, no, I am not a Protestant.

My mistake. I see now that you did not use it in the plural. You did write "Book of Revelation" initially in your article, then you just used "Revelation" after that.

I know that you aren't a Protestant. I was pointing out that Protestants refer to the Apocalypse of St. John as "Revelation." (both plural and singular).

In my experience, it's more properly traditionally to use the "Apocalypse of St. John." I have no idea what the EO tend to use to refer to that book of Sacred Scripture.
"It is licit to resist a Sovereign Pontiff who is trying to destroy the Church. I say it is licit to resist him in not following his orders and in preventing the execution of his will. It is not licit to Judge him, to punish him, or to depose him, for these are acts proper to a superior."

    ~St. Robert Bellarmine

My stance as an adherent of the Orthodox Christian faith is that at the very least, post-Vatican II Catholicism is anti-Christ.

Tim Fitz, when you say Orthodox Christian Faith, do you mean as in Greek/ Russian/ Coptic Orthodox faith?
I’ve been trying to post some info on Mutt Lange/ Want Mat, but my post gets rejected. Please advise.

Yes, the standard definition of Orthodox Christianity. Perhaps try posting the Lange information again.

So are you Catholic or Orthodox, and by Catholic I mean pre-Vat II Catholic?

I consider myself Orthodox but obviously with traditional Catholic sympathies.
    2 Corinthians 4:3-4

And if our gospel be also hid, it is hid to them that are lost, In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of unbelievers, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine unto them.

Maybe not, but some of your comments give the impression of being a sola scripturist.

Regardless, this obsession with Mary’s heart is not a teaching found in the writings of the Church Fathers. Therefore, it is NOT according to tradition, much less according to the Bible. This sacred heart stuff is, however, found in the writings of a heretic.
Firstly, is a devotion an obsession in your opinion?

    Second St Luke tells us
"But Mary kept all these words, pondering them in her heart."
[Luke 2:19]

"And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them. And his mother kept all these words in her heart."[Luke 2:51]

Does your "orthodox" religion have any sort of antipathy to "devotion to a single body part—even Mary’s"?
Help of Christians, guard our land from assault or inward stain,
Let it be what God has planned, His new Eden where You reign.
