So I've argued with quite a few pro-Trump people on here recently and I want to ask:
How is Trump truly the lesser of two evils?
Because that is the bottom line point of the pro Trump people. Take one trip to google and you find the man isn't even morally tolerable. He is a pig. The only thing he says he'll do that is plausible is protect guns. And that's probably going to be handled like his pro life stance which means he says it for election day and forgets about it.
Seriously the only thing he'll do is build a wall (maybe), legalize prostitution and build casinos in every city with federal money. He promises to make us money an that's about it. Does money somehow make him less evil? I didn't know we all became Calvinists.
So someone please explain to me how you can come to the conclusion that Trump is the lesser of two evils.
-
Trump also says he'll bring jobs back to America and rebuild what's little left of the U.S. manufacturing base (Jєωιѕн Wall St. and the globalists hate him for this reason). He'll end preemptive wars (warmongering Zionist Neocons, globalists and the War Machine hate him for this reason). He'll bring back "Merry Christmas" and do away with "happy holidays" around Christmas time (Jews and atheists hate him for this reason). He'll end federal funding to Planned Parenthood (Jєωιѕн proponents & pioneers of infanticide, and their feminist whore-pig lackeys, hate Trump for this reason). This is just off the top of my head.
-
Sanders is a Jew, so no vote for him even if he were the only candidate.
So the race is between Hilary and Donald. Neither are morally tolerable so if we overlook that, then may as well vote for Donald as he has proven himself a successful business man.
After all, the government is in everyone's businesses, essentially, the government is running and strangling most businesses. It is in the business of finance, the business of oil, the business of health care, the business of communications, the business of transportation, the business of etc. ad nausem, looking at it that way, it makes a lot more sense to vote in the Donald than the Hilary.

I have no doubt Trump will do well in reviving the American economy but that won't fix the real problems with our country.
I don't know where you heard him say he'll end foreign wars, because his wife is married to a Jew.
I fail to see how making "merry Christmas" a federal mandate will actually educate anyone about Catholicism.
If everyone starts acting like Trumps wife Planned Parenthood won't need federal funding.

Right because giving a neo-pagan, Godless nation billions of dollars is a good idea. (cough, cough) nαzι Germany, Soviet Russia, Communist China... (cough, cough)

No, I don't think it's a good idea, I just think it's a worse idea to leave all that money up to Hilary to manage. I think they are all a bunch of crooks to some degree and no matter who gets in won't really matter in the scheme of things.
Trump reminds me a lot of a millionaire I knew, who himself had 4 wives. But the guy I knew said what he thought when necessary, usually without concern for being PC similar to Trump, and whatever his other faults, he was a great business man.

Reviving the economy is the best place to start. North America has too much time on it's hands. Putting people back to work will give them some pride in their accomplishments which they will want to protect. With less time to get into mischief they will set standards to regulate the time they have outside work. History shows us that working people are more content and MORAL. Working parents don't put up with their kids nonsense nor do they make excuses for them.(Of course I'm talking about the two parent, male and female, family).
Idle hands are the devil's workshop
Get jobs back on U.S. soil and people working
Trump is transparent...what you see is what you get. Hillary is devious.

A great economy doesn't fix a depraved society and giving a depraved people money to pursue their depraved desires REALLY isn't a good idea.

Trump is not an insider. The media hates him and using all means of
lies. and falsehoods to stop him from being nominated. The
Republican establishments have spent millions of dollars to defeat
him. The U.S Chamber of Commerce hates Trump and spending
million of dollars to defeat him because they promote cheap
immigrant labor.
Trump is a populist. He is neither liberal and conservative. He
has engaged in topics such as illegal immigration, and middle east
refugees that are majority Muslims. Also, he favors reopening the
911 investigation in which we all know was a fαℓѕє fℓαg.
Hilary, Cruz, Rubio, and Sanders are all Zionist shrills, and get
their money from Jєωιѕн Donors into the millions of dollars.
They will continue policies of the Bushes, the Clintons, and
Obama. More wars in the middle east, possible wars with Russia
and China.
At Lease Trump will talk to Putin, and even praises the Russian
Intervention if the Middle East to destroy the proxy army of
Isis.
I am not saying Trump is perfect. He is an unknown. He told
a group of Jєωιѕн Republicans that he is not accepting their money.
Trump so far has spent his own money.

The Donald Haters: What is behind the Neocons' Anti-Trump Hysteria:
http://sputniknews.com/politics/20160310/1036092047/what-lies-beneath-anti-trump-hysteria.html
Neocons and some among the GOP elites are beside themselves with despair over presidential candidate Donald Trump's success, US political commentator Patrick J. Buchanan writes, posing the question: "Can the establishment stop Trump?"
Donald Trump's triumphant march across the United States has prompted growing concerns among neocons and some GOP leaders.
"Some among the GOP elites, who have waited patiently through the Obama era to recapture control of US foreign policy, are now beside themselves with despair over Trump's success," US conservative commentator Patrick J. Buchanan notes.
"Fully 116 members of the GOP's national security community, many of them veterans of Bush administrations, have signed an open letter threatening that, if Trump is nominated, they will all desert, and some will defect — to Hillary Clinton!" he points out in his article for The American Conservative.

Donald Trump Takes Mississippi Primary
One of the signers, Robert Kagan — a neoconservative intellectual and vocal proponent of America's overseas military campaigns — insisted in his op-ed for The Washington Post that "the only choice will be to vote for Hillary Clinton."
"Are they serious?" Buchanan asks.
What makes them so desperately unhappy about the prospect of Donald Trump's potential victory?
The conservative commentator points out that Trump calls the Iraq War a "historic blunder" and promises to remain neutral while brokering peace between Israel and the Palestinians, as Jimmy Carter did.
And yes, he also says that he would "get along very well" with Russian President Vladimir Putin "as Richard Nixon got along with Leonid Brezhnev and Mao Zedong."
"Trump would launch no new crusades for democracy. He would not oppose Russia bombing ISIS [Daesh]. He would build that wall on the border. He would transfer from US taxpayers to rich allies more of the cost of defending themselves," Buchanan continues.

Trump Assures Supporters He Can Start Acting ‘Presidential’ Whenever He Wants
Doesn't it make sense?
However, the US political establishment fears that the presidential candidate will throw a monkey wrench in their global expansionist plans (which have nothing to do with America's national interests).
"Now we all know that many of those who are hating on Donald Trump are doing so because he is threatening the cozy-crony-politico-predatory-capitalist system that has made so many of them fat and rich. He is intending to break their rice bowls as the Chinese would put it or, in a more American vernacular, the gravy train might be ending," CIA veteran Philip Giraldi wrote in his recent article for The Unz Review.

On the other hand, Daniel McAdams of the Ron Paul Institute nailed it describing Trump haters as "soft skinned and well-perfumed keyboard warriors who eagerly send America's sons and daughters to be slaughtered in wars that achieve nothing but the ascendance of new 'bad guys' used to justify ever more wars. And all of it pays very nicely for them."

Trump Leads Nationally, Struggles Within Republican Party
It is hardly surprising that American oligarchs, including Nebraska's billionaire Ricketts family and Hedge-fund billionaire Paul Singer, have thrown their weight behind the all-out anti-Trump media campaign.
Now he is "under a ceaseless barrage of attack ads on radio, TV, cable and social media."
The question then arises: can the American political and financial establishment stop Trump?
"Answer: It is possible, and we shall know by midnight, March 15. If Trump loses Florida and Ohio, winner-take-all primaries, he would likely fall short of the 1,237 delegates needed for nomination on the first ballot," the conservative commentator stresses.
But it is not about Donald Trump, it's the future of the United States and the world that is at stake.
"Can millionaires and billionaires who back open borders, mass immigration, globalization and the disappearance of nation states into transnational collectives overwhelm with their millions spent in ads the patriotic movements that arose this year to the wonderment of America and the world?" Buchanan asks.

I haven't spoken before, but I would like to tell you what I think about Trump.
Trump certainly isn't a perfect choice, but we are facing some very dire times if Hilary gets in. He isn't a politician, which is huge in my book, he is a successful business man, he is hated by all the people I can't stand in Washington, when he talks about what he would do for America it is always things I have been concerned about. Especially the job situation. The unemployment numbers are bogus and we know that so many can't find work, or if they do it is only part time. We need jobs in America.
One thing that has surprised me is he has never been a drinker and he doesn't smoke and he raised a pretty decent family. No, he isn't Catholic but God still protects our freedoms when we have a honorable leader even if he is an unbeliever. I have been praying for him a lot just because maybe the pressures of this political campaign may actually cause him to turn to our Lord in a big way.
Let me ask you AnonymousCatholic isn't the fact of our great need in America for someone to do something about our crisis enough reason to at least hope he will do what he says and vote for him? We don't know if he will follow through, but we DO know that the politicians aren't going to do anything - they have proved that. It will be the same old thing with them.
The way Obama has gutted the military, we could easily face a national crisis if some other nation attacked us. We are pretty spoiled in that department. For that reason I will support someone from outside government who seems to know what the problems are.
He needs are prayers.

Of course it doesn't and it never will as long as we are a country without God and without the Church, it is only a matter of time before a final collapse. No man can fix this, no president can save us from the inevitable doom we are headed for and no one here is saying otherwise.
The Jews running this country into the pit will keep squeezing us for all they can get out of us no matter who gets elected, but personally, I think I could stand the thought of the Donald as president, but the thought of that evil old grandma running this country turns my stomach.

Before the wave of women downthumbing this, in no way did I mean to say that women who are adamantly opposed to Trump are all unattractive or overweight. In fact, there are unattractive, overweight women supporting him, too. I was only making a reference to the emotions his comments might have stirred in otherwise unhappy fans of Rosie O'Donnel.

Exactly. Quite frankly, I fail to understand how any person or bloc of voters can believe how a President who is a Protestant is going to sway the United States citizens and culture back to morality. If the so-called Christian churches can't do it, how in the world is a US President going to?
Besides, the US President is not a Monarch. He can not, with a swoop of his pen, end divorce, end feminism, end birth control, mandate that people convert to Catholicism or Protestantism, shudder the mosques, end out of wedlock births, stop drug abuse, end pedophilia, etc.
A US President has limited power, and the only things he can actually accomplish he must either do with a congress of elected officials from two different parties or with executive orders.
Currently, over half of our population is without work. You can't reduce government spending on entitlement programs if you don't have jobs for people to work. You can't have $8 an hour jobs and expect a person to work and pay rent and feed a family on that in this economy.
You can't defend your people in your country if you don't know who is coming into it. And you can't tell who is coming into it unless you have a really strict security system.
You can't expect to have peace with any 3rd world country if you are constantly going in, over-throwing their corrupt government to establish democracy, and therefore allowing people to put into place a more dangerous corrupt regime than before.
Divorce. That ship has sailed, launched and christened by Ronald Reagan in 1969. Abortion without restriction has sailed, also launched and christened by Ronald Reagan in 1967 by his signing of the Therapeutic Abortion Act. The evil and corrupt Department of Education that has led down this road of the moral corruption of our children, not launched by Reagan but certainly christened by him in 1980 when he accept GHW Bush as VP. John F. Kennedy, by pushing through the Equal Pay Act in 1963, essentially froze men's pay so that women could get equal pay in the work place.
I could go on and on.
We are in the place in our country with moral depravity precisely because the so-called "moral" candidates put us there. All of these bills these politicians and Presidents put in place have led our country to the moral precipice. If you do not see that, then you are blind, naive, or both.
Donald Trump is a business man first and foremost. Everything he does is a business deal. If a business deal is bad for him, he will walk away from the table, try to recover what was lost, and move on.
A war with Israel is bad business. Thus, when he says he will be neutral between Israel and Palestine, I believe him. He may be friends with the Jews, his daughter may be a Jew, but Donald is not stupid. He's not going to do anything to cost the US more money.
He knows explicitly why companies are moving their businesses overseas because he had to do it himself. He has said it over and over---a company in the US can not be competitive because the cards are stacked against us in these trade deals. Other countries do not play by our rules.
As far as terrorism goes....I served in the military. These countries don't give two cents about a POW. Our soldiers mean NOTHING to them. Even after you give up information, they will kill you. Playing footsie, trying not to offend countries who play by different rules is not helping us. Rather than torture them, we should execute all terrorists. They are a danger to our country and our people and there is NOTHING un-Catholic or immoral about executing a terrorist who wants to kill you.
Yes, I care about my children's souls. But I also worry about their future. They can't live at home with us forever. They need jobs. They need homes. I have a son who is training to be a pilot in the Navy. I want him to be safe and not give up his life because we don't understand the enemies play book.
Hillary Clinton is a war monger, a liar, a thief, a murderer, an career corrupt politician who will do anything to roll in the rays of power. She could care less about a single person on the face of this earth. She would just as soon stir up the black folks just to get them to vote for her than to serve tea to the Jєωιѕн bankers on Saturday. A Clinton presidency will be more Muslims, more war, more race-baiting, more hatred, more anger, more un-employment, more debt.
At least Donald Trump actually knows that there are people who live below poverty. He knows that people need jobs and if you give them jobs, they work. They feed their kids. They stay out of trouble as much as they can.
We are living in a post Christian society. The people who do not understand that are delusional. The only in roads made into ending abortion have been real people who went into the streets and started filming the horrors in the abortion mills. It was only then, that these congressmen realized that the people are sick of this. That's when the mills started closing down. It wasn't because a President wrote anything into law.
Divorce, abortion, sɛҳuąƖ perversion, ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity---all those things are cemented into our culture. They are not going anywhere. All we can hope for are law makers who will protect us from prosecution when we don't want to bake a cake or host a wedding for queers.
With churches closing their doors by the hundreds, all we can hope for is the freedom to PUBLICLY practice our faith, to teach our children in our faith, to educate our own children.
I personally believe Donald Trump will do what he says. If he doesn't, the people, real people will stop buying his products. They will stop spending money at his casinos and hotels. It will be really bad for his business. It will be a media frenzy. He doesn't want that.
He will serve only 1 term. Then it will be a political reset. Then maybe both the Republicans and Democrats will realize they do really have to answer to the people.

Most of your points are good, until this...
I personally believe Donald Trump will do what he says. If he doesn't, the people, real people will stop buying his products. They will stop spending money at his casinos and hotels. It will be really bad for his business. It will be a media frenzy. He doesn't want that.
1. "he will do what he says". Which is what? Increase tariff taxes? If/when china/asia raises their currency rates to normal levels or if/when the US raises tariff/import taxes is the day that our economy collapses because prices at walmart and every other store where they use imported goods will skyrocket! This has to eventually happen, because the market can't be denied, but if it happens all at once, wow! you'll be paying $10 for an apple and worse.
As you pointed out earlier, what can Trump really do besides pray that congress pass good laws. The presidency controls veto power (which is a negative power) and he controls the military. Not much he can do positively; he can only avoid a negative (bad law or war).
2. "If he doesn't, people will stop buying his products". Who's going to stop going to hotels/casinos if they disagree with trump? Those that frequent casinos are usually addicted and if they avoid his hotels, they'll just go to another chain, which is owned by a different billionaire, who supported Trump or Obama.
Face it, we live in a monopolistic world. This is why jobs are so bad; they've been cut because of mergers/acquisitions over the past 2 decades. And they aren't coming back. There's only 4-5 major hotel chains - all owned by many of the same people. There's 3 major cell phone companies, etc, etc. 'We the people' have no economic leverage. Anywhere we shop, it's supporting some big wig. Need to face reality on this one.
3. A "media frenzy" related to what? They'll attack him because he's a republican, which is part of the game. That's about it.
-
Trump also says he'll bring jobs back to America and rebuild what's little left of the U.S. manufacturing base (Jєωιѕн Wall St. and the globalists hate him for this reason).
I could not have said it better than you! :applause:
Trump is certainly the lesser of 2 evils. Our country is trillions in debt! We have illegals and "refugees" pouring into the country. We have to take the "risk" to vote for a non establishment candidate.

That simply says it all...

I'm not convinced that Trump is any better than Hillary, and in fact he is actually worse in some ways.
At least Hillary was only married once, and is still married to her husband (the Clinton marriage is somewhat of a sham, but at least it has a surface veneer of respectability)
If Hillary Clinton divorced Bill and married a 20 year old jigolo was was famous for posing in the nude, THEN we would have an equivalent to Trump in the area of marriage fidelity and morality.
That is just one example of what I'm getting at.
The office of President doesn't have as much power as you might think. We're not voting for our next dictator or king. However, they have a lot of power as role models and revered, highly public figures. They influence the nation by their morality, principles, and priorities -- probably more so than they do by the actual power they wield in the government.
And yes, I take this (personal life, past record) into consideration AT LEAST AS MUCH as I consider a candidate's lip service campaign promises.
-

A) If America is invaded the last people protecting American citizens will be the military. They'll be to busy fortifying all of Trumps businesses and protecting those important politicians.
In a military crisis the military protects assets not liabilities.
B) He doesn't say he'll address any actual issues. ISIS isn't what's wrong with our nation and a sudden economic turnaround isn't suddenly going to convert our Godless craphole. We are HEATHENS and so is Trump.
C) If Trump is a pagan and Hillary is a pagan what's the difference? "Protect our freedoms..." If voting for the "lesser of the two evils" actually worked we wouldn't be in the mess we are in today. And that's assumoing Trump is the lesser of two evils.
-
The thing I like most about the Trump is drives you liebe-rals into a constant obsessive fit.
When did I ever suggest anything liberal?
-
Right because giving a neo-pagan, Godless nation billions of dollars is a good idea.
A great economy doesn't fix a depraved society and giving a depraved people money to pursue their depraved desires REALLY isn't a good idea.
Again what is the difference? Trump will legalize prostitution and build a casino in every city in America. Hillary will expand welfare and planned parenthood.
It's basically saying "I'd rather burn to death than freeze to death." Guess what? Both are equally fatal and both will be painful, slow and horrible.
-
The thing I like most about the Trump is drives you liebe-rals into a constant obsessive fit.
Yeah, there seems to be a pattern of him being unpopular with liberals, illegal immigrants, and overweight unattractive women...
Like how Hillary is unpopular with all the crazy rednecks that would be fine with killing Muslim BABIES just because "Damn Muslims!"
Or how about those awesome Protestants you've now aligned with in your common love of Trump. Let me ask you; Do you speak in tongues now?
Or my personal favorite about Trump, his daughter is married TO A JEW!
-
I love this so much. It reminds me of the great debates I used to have with my extended family. They used all the same arguments as you guys believe it or not. Oh yeah they were Pentecostals too, meaning they spoke in tongues.
All of your responses are "he'll make us money" or "we should just pray harder". You guys are the most novus ordo people I'd ever heard.
Oh and my favorite someone saying how those Islamic radicals don't give a hoot about POW's. Well when you CARPET BOMB SOMEONES CHILDREN I don't think they parents really give a damn about the soldiers doing it. Would you?
Seriously you all are a bunch of Protestants.
-

I said lieberal not liberal.

Yeah, I don't get this. Who cares if Ivanka Trump is married to a Jew? Her last name is Trump, so her image is kinda tarnished by association, anyway.

I won't comment on the premise of your thread, but you should know by now that coming into this group of Traditional Catholics and suggesting that morality is more important than economics will get you booed off the stage.
That is not a fair assessment of the forum members. I cannot remember observing that to be the case in a single instance, and certainly not the forum on whole.
-
I'm not convinced that Trump is any better than Hillary, and in fact he is actually worse in some ways.
At least Hillary was only married once, and is still married to her husband (the Clinton marriage is somewhat of a sham, but at least it has a surface veneer of respectability)
That veneer is too thin to score her any points for it.
The office of President doesn't have as much power as you might think. We're not voting for our next dictator or king. However, they have a lot of power as role models and revered, highly public figures. They influence the nation by their morality, principles, and priorities -- probably more so than they do by the actual power they wield in the government.
Your idea about role model vs. power is correct to some extent, but what you say here oversimplifies it and grossly exaggerates the breakdown.
And yes, I take this (personal life, past record) into consideration AT LEAST AS MUCH as I consider a candidate's lip service campaign promises.
I do too. Her past record is pushing for HillaryCare back in 1993/94; advocating "choice;" sitting stoically with her "husband" as the room was drowning in applause at "Mother" Teresa's denouncing abortion; and what ever happened to Vince Foster...
So you have HillaryCare; WhiteWaterGate; gun-grabbing; dead bodies such as Vince Foster; dead bodies such as the Benghazi 4; dead bodies resulting from Bush's jew war which she supported. The president is hired to do a job. What she is openly unequivocally telling us in her "interview" is that she will seek goals and policies not in keeping with Catholic principles. For some reason, based on her personal life and past record, I believe her.
The "role model" idea--I suppose the role model of a strong domineering woman, adamantly advancing un-Catholic principles, jutting about in her pants (pant-suits, clown-suits), is sooooo much better if a role model.

I appreciated how you took the time to write long thoughtful response but nope.
But when it comes to the economy you assume he can magically repair it with the swipe of a pen. Trump's businesses went bankrupt 5 times, the last time being in 2014 . He's rich because he has casinos and a TV show.
Currently, over half of our population is without work. You can't reduce government spending on entitlement programs if you don't have jobs for people to work. You can't have $8 an hour jobs and expect a person to work and pay rent and feed a family on that in this economy.
There seems to be an assumption here that Trump is going to make this living wage happen. Unless we are all going to be working in a casino. Are you good with your daughters being showgirls and your sons being blackjack dealers?
You can't defend your people in your country if you don't know who is coming into it. And you can't tell who is coming into it unless you have a really strict security system.
I don't argue the importance of enforcing immigration laws. But we are the minority now, and unless you identify as the average white person (i.e. rights for sodomites, contempt for the poor etc.) then you are the minority. Every Catholic prophet said that Catholic peoples worldwide will be persecuted.
There may come a time when you wish that wall wasn't there.
You can't expect to have peace with any 3rd world country if you are constantly going in, over-throwing their corrupt government to establish democracy, and therefore allowing people to put into place a more dangerous corrupt regime than before.
No arguments but the mess already made may be too large to walk away from.
I was unaware that the corpses of Kennedy and Reagan were running. Are they running mates?
If so they got my vote.
We are in the place in our country with moral depravity precisely because the so-called "moral" candidates put us there. All of these bills these politicians and Presidents put in place have led our country to the moral precipice. If you do not see that, then you are blind, naive, or both.
I do see it and if you feel so harshly about it why do you continue to perpetuate it?
Donald Trump is a business man first and foremost. Everything he does is a business deal. If a business deal is bad for him, he will walk away from the table, try to recover what was lost, and move on.
Larry Flint ad Ernie Madoff were both businessmen too.
Couldn't we champion someone who hasn't declared bankruptcy FIVE times, to save our economy?
A war with Israel is bad business. Thus, when he says he will be neutral between Israel and Palestine, I believe him. He may be friends with the Jews, his daughter may be a Jew, but Donald is not stupid. He's not going to do anything to cost the US more money.
War is very profitable for a great deal of businesses, so no.
He knows explicitly why companies are moving their businesses overseas because he had to do it himself. He has said it over and over---a company in the US can not be competitive because the cards are stacked against us in these trade deals. Other countries do not play by our rules.
Protectionism is a good thing I agree, but doesn't the fact that he moved all his labor overseas show more of his scuмmy character?
As far as terrorism goes....I served in the military. These countries don't give two cents about a POW. Our soldiers mean NOTHING to them. Even after you give up information, they will kill you. Playing footsie, trying not to offend countries who play by different rules is not helping us. Rather than torture them, we should execute all terrorists. They are a danger to our country and our people and there is NOTHING un-Catholic or immoral about executing a terrorist who wants to kill you.
I don't think self-defense warrants a preemptive carpet bombing on civilian targets where infants are dwelling. All you are doing is making terrorists feel justified in their actions.
Yes, I care about my children's souls. But I also worry about their future. They can't live at home with us forever. They need jobs. They need homes. I have a son who is training to be a pilot in the Navy. I want him to be safe and not give up his life because we don't understand the enemies play book.
That's a big leap of faith on Trump, if you think he'll do all of that for you and your kids.
Yes, I care about my children's souls. But
That's a mighty big but.
At least Donald Trump actually knows that there are people who live below poverty. He knows that people need jobs and if you give them jobs, they work. Theyin feed their kids. They stay out of trouble as much as they can.
That is a well known fact but I see no relevance to Trump with it. Bernie Sanders has been very vocal about income disparity and helping the middle class and I don't think he is a warmonger. I am no democrat, but I fail to see Trumps superiority over them.
Albert Einsteins quote on insanity covers this entire paragraph.
You think Trump will be protecting you from immorality? The man markets it for a living.
With churches closing their doors by the hundreds, all we can hope for is the freedom to PUBLICLY practice our faith, to teach our children in our faith, to educate our own children.
Fail to see how this is relevant to Trump except for how he might tear down a hundred churches to build one profitable casino.
Using eminent domain of course.
I personally believe Donald Trump will do what he says. If he doesn't, the people, real people will stop buying his products. They will stop spending money at his casinos and hotels. It will be really bad for his business. It will be a media frenzy. He doesn't want that.
Like how the American people embargoed companies moving overseas, using illegal immigrant, or companies that destroy the environment?
He will serve only 1 term. Then it will be a political reset. Then maybe both the Republicans and Democrats will realize they do really have to answer to the people.
Do you still believe in Santa Claus?

There seems to be an assumption here that Trump is going to make this living wage happen. Unless we are all going to be working in a casino. Are you good with your daughters being showgirls and your sons being blackjack dealers?
You demonstrate clearly here that you are not informed about the real issues. The actual situation is more complex than "he has casinos so he will give us jobs in a casino". Really simple-minded.
The government bailouts of Ford were with taxpayers money. Trump legitimately pointed this out. Now they plan to close up and use the taxpayer's money to go to Mexico. Like every other country, Trump wants to place a tax on them to import their cars after that. This is good. This is what Brazil does on anything that is bought. I just paid 50 dollars tax on a pair of shoes I had sent through the mail. Only the U.S. doesn't do this. It's a free for all for businesses to go to where labor is cheap and sell their products in our economy. The news here is that it isn't Latin America buying cars. The majority of the population uses public transportation in Latin America. So Ford intends to go to Mexico where the minimum wage is 6 dollars a day, make their cars for extra cheap and then bring them to the U.S. with no penalties and sell them in our market. Trump is the only candidate that has pointed this out to people. If anything, people should be glad that there is someone that is trying to open the eyes of the public, in this respect.
I think you should inform yourself a little more.

Bernie said the same thing:
There really is no shame. The Wall Street leaders whose recklessness and illegal behavior caused this terrible recession are now lecturing the American people on the need for courage to deal with the nation’s finances and deficit crisis. Before telling us why we should cut Social Security, Medicare and other vitally important programs, these CEOs might want to take a hard look at their responsibility for causing the deficit and this terrible recession.
Our Wall Street friends might also want to show some courage of their own by suggesting that the wealthiest people in this country, like them, start paying their fair share of taxes. They might work to end the outrageous corporate loopholes, tax havens and outsourcing provisions that their lobbyists have littered throughout the tax code – contributing greatly to our deficit.
Many of the CEO’s who signed the deficit-reduction letter run corporations that evaded at least $34.5 billion in taxes by setting up more than 600 subsidiaries in the Cayman Islands and other offshore tax havens since 2008. As a result, at least a dozen of the companies avoided paying any federal income taxes in recent years, and even received more than $6.4 billion in tax refunds from the IRS since 2008.
Several of the companies received a total taxpayer bailout of more than $2.5 trillion from the Federal Reserve and the Treasury Department.
Many of the companies also have outsourced hundreds of thousands of American jobs to China and other low wage countries, forcing their workers to receive unemployment insurance and other federal benefits. In other words, these are some of the same people who have significantly caused the deficit to explode over the last four years.
So if they both said the same exact thing how is Trump superior?

Last year, in ninth grade, we learned about allegory. Did you finish ninth grade?
I did not mean that Trump would make everyone work in a casino, I meant that he would have zero concern for the nation's morality, and would not refrain from supporting immoral businesses to stimulate the economy.
BTW, it was General Motors and Chrysler that took the bailouts. Ford didn't take any money.
I don't think it is me who needs to inform myself a little more.
Aren't you the guy who loveeees all your free government crap in your imaginary utopian central american country?

I refrain from arguing with smart alec teenagers. I work three jobs and have better things to do.

Well clearly thinking isn't one of those "better things" to do.
Also you called me a simpleton. Not vice versa. You used name calling to address my respectful post and now you're getting angry when I merely use the fallacies in YOUR insulting post to make fun of you?
I am listening and I will gladly address you with respect when I myself am given respect. So go have some coffee and slow down a bit. Come back when you are feeling more on the level and then we can talk about it like adults.

I appreciated how you took the time to write long thoughtful response but nope.
We are living in a post Christian society. The people who do not understand that are delusional. The only in roads made into ending abortion have been real people who went into the streets and started filming the horrors in the abortion mills.
I was not initially particularly impressed with CathMom's post. Thank you for breaking it down for me. I was focusing on a couple of points that turned me off and somehow overlooking a lot of wisdom in her post.
As for your response, it reveals that you are a low-info voter (or non-voter as the case may be), wreaks of misplaced smugness, and finally demonstrates to my remedial understanding what "strawman" is.
Quite lofty material for someone whose ultimate solution is:
-
I refrain from arguing with smart alec teenagers. I work three jobs and have better things to do.
How did I forget that he's a teenager?!?!
Saying Trump got rich from television should have been a dead giveaway. :roll-laugh1:
In fact, I started to ask him if he was 18 or 20 when I saw that! He isn't even that old!
But, of course, he knows everything. I won't be wasting my time with Anonymous anymore.

Trump's businesses went bankrupt 5 times, the last time being in 2014 . He's rich because he has casinos and a TV show.
Across the board, in every industry, only about 58% of businesses are still in operation after 4 years. Over 25% of businesses fail within the first year. Having a business go bankrupt is not a sign of failure. It could have many factors, including the market. So this alone is not reason to say that Trump is not a successful business man. The gaming and entertainment industry is the fastest growing industry in our economy right now. They are adding thousands of jobs each month. In fact, the federal government reported and increase in tax revenue from the gaming industry has risen by almost 10%.
There seems to be an assumption here that Trump is going to make this living wage happen. Unless we are all going to be working in a casino. Are you good with your daughters being showgirls and your sons being blackjack dealers?
Trump understands that American jobs are hard to find because industry is moving overseas and because there are incentives to import foreign workers at lower wages than Americans will work for. He understands this because he is a businessman. He has to do it himself because he has to remain competitive. You simply cannot compete. I will use and example that is local for me. Before Lowes came to our town, we had 3 local lumber supply businesses. They had been here for many decades. Family businesses. Within 6 months of Lowe's coming, they shuttered their doors. They could not compete with the market. They couldn't sell lumber any cheaper, they couldn't pay their workers any less. They were run out of business. Business is about competition and if you can't compete you have to regroup or close the doors.
I don't argue the importance of enforcing immigration laws.
Good. I think about my own home. People don't get to come to my home uninvited. If they do, they are arrested for trespassing. If they break in and take things, then it's stealing. And if they break in and try to hurt my children or me, then we have the right to defend ourselves even with deadly force. This philosophy is more so for our nation. No one gets to come in uninvited.
There may come a time when you wish that wall wasn't there.
I have thought about this statement a lot, wondering if many people mention this in reference to Communist Germany.
No arguments but the mess already made may be too large to walk away from.
Nope. Our country can and should take a more non-interventionist approach. We can pull our troops out gradually and never go back. We can and should leave these peoples to care for themselves. It is not the United States job to bring every third world country to democracy. We should leave them alone to figure things out for themselves.
I was unaware that the corpses of Kennedy and Reagan were running. Are they running mates?
If so they got my vote.
The point I was making is that the very Presidents people tout as being so great for this country, being such moral upright men, did not necessarily do us any favors. The very problems we have, the decay of the family, feminism, abortion on demand---were given to us by Presidents that people perceived to be morally upright and benevolent. There are no guarantees that moral men are actually truly moral or that their ideas are good for this country.
Couldn't we champion someone who hasn't declared bankruptcy FIVE times, to save our economy?
See above. I have failed at many things many times. Failure is part of life. Successful people have many failures in their lives. Failure helps us re-evaluate, figure out what works, and get rid of things we don't need. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!
War is very profitable for a great deal of businesses, so no.
War is profitable for some and destructive for others, particularly nations. Every nation involved in WWII suffered economic destruction, except ours. We became quite wealthy, building planes and bombs. Unfortunately, these modern wars are money sucking machines. We are profiting nothing.
Protectionism is a good thing I agree, but doesn't the fact that he moved all his labor overseas show more of his scuмmy character?
Donald Trump is a businessman. You criticize him for going bankrupt, yet when he moves his businesses to other countries to make a profit, he is scuмmy? Hmm. What do you want? Business men can only be successful if they can make a profit. This is what he is telling people: The US is not profitable to having and creating industry. We must change our laws. We are the only country that doesn't charge some sort of tariff for importing our goods. It's gotta change.
That is a well known fact but I see no relevance to Trump with it. Bernie Sanders has been very vocal about income disparity and helping the middle class and I don't think he is a warmonger. I am no democrat, but I fail to see Trumps superiority over them.
This is simple. Socialism doesn't work. Taxing the working people to pay for the unworking people has proven time and again to be a failure. Providing jobs for people and encouraging them to work has proven to be quite successful. Unless of course you want to live in places like Denmark where everyone pays about 60% of their income into the system and is taken care of from the cradle to the grave. But the Danes don't get involved in all these wars either. So maybe that's not so bad....I don't know.
You think Trump will be protecting you from immorality? The man markets it for a living.
I never said such a thing. We live in a post-Christian society that is completely morally bankrupt. No one can protect anyone from it. That's not what motivates my choice for President.
-
I want to thank you Cathmomof7 for your wonderful, insightful posts. Most of this is common sense, but then....how many people have common sense today?
We have to choose a candidate that will give us the freedoms to practice our faith in this Godless society. There is not much left of our society. Don't expect idealism in this age. :applause:
-
There are 2 choices---- Trump or the Billary( who is at least 10X worse). :detective:
-
Of course it doesn't and it never will as long as we are a country without God and without the Church, it is only a matter of time before a final collapse.

Donald Trump on taxing the rich: “Well, basically, this would be a one-time tax, 14.25 percent against people with a net worth of over 10 million […] It would pay off in its entirety the national debt of $5.7 trillion, and you’d save $200 billion a year. So taxes for the middle class would go way down, the estate and inheritance tax totally wiped out, and the Social Security system would be saved.”
— NBC, “Good Morning America,” 11/10/1999
5. Donald Trump on quitting the GOP: “I really believe Republicans are just too crazy […] I mean, hey, I lived in New York City, Manhattan all my life, okay? So my views are a little bit different than if I lived in Iowa, perhaps.”
— NBC, “Meet the Press,” 10/1999
6. Donald Trump on abortion, including Partial Birth Abortion: “I’m very pro-choice. I am pro-choice in every respect.”
— NBC, “Meet the Press,” 10/1999
9) “By imposing a one-time 14.25 percent net-worth tax on the richest individuals and trusts, we can put America on sound financial footing for the next century.”
—Writing in his book, The America We Deserve, January 2000
10) “I think he [Obama] has a chance to go down as a great president.”
—Interview with NY1, November 2008

He will serve only 1 term. Then it will be a political reset. Then maybe both the Republicans and Democrats will realize they do really have to answer to the people.
Do you still believe in Santa Claus?
From the posts on CathInfo about Trump, looks like a lot of folks do.

Maybe she meant he will do what he says when he said "you have to take out their families" - i.e. kill innocent civilians.
Or maybe she meant when he said “Look, Planned Parenthood has done very good work for many, many — for millions of women,” Trump said in a news conference Tuesday night.
Oh, maybe it wasn't that, since that wasn't an action. Maybe she meant when he promises a female-Sodomite "forward motion" on so-called "gαy rights" if elected president:
O'Connell, who is also Bay Windows' Publisher, identified herself as a lesbian in a question that noted the progress the LGBT community has made in the last two decades and asked Trump if voters can expect him to continue that momentum if elected
"When President Trump is in office can we look for more forward motion on equality for gαys and lesbians?" O'Connell asked him.
"Well, you can," Trump answered. "

How is a economy fueled by gaming going to lead to anything even resembling greatness? It's the equivalent of stimulating the economy using meth sales. The gaming industry panders to the lowest, basest desires of man and things he's prone to get addicted to.
You seem to have a disconnect between morality and economy and I'd guess one would have to in order to work in the gaming/entertainment industry and expect those people to go home and live a moral life, leading to a more decent society. It doesn't and won't work that way. Depravity is an extremely contagious disease.
“America is great because she is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.”
― Alexis de Tocqueville
Or, as my late grampa used to say, "Sh** rolls downhill."
I have thought about this statement a lot, wondering if many people mention this in reference to Communist Germany.
To think it couldn't happen here is contrary to the lessons of history.
Nope. Our country can and should take a more non-interventionist approach. We can pull our troops out gradually and never go back. We can and should leave these peoples to care for themselves. It is not the United States job to bring every third world country to democracy. We should leave them alone to figure things out for themselves.
I agree we should leave. We're there because someone is making a ton of money from our occupation.
Surely comparing Ronald Reagans divorce to Donald Trumps former nude model, former mistress wife is like comparing apples to elephant dung. She's like an icon to our failure as a society and what's important to us. Every time I see her I feel sad that the Obamas are leaving.
See above. I have failed at many things many times. Failure is part of life. Successful people have many failures in their lives. Failure helps us re-evaluate, figure out what works, and get rid of things we don't need. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!
Going back to the title of this thread, the question is how is he better? You all are saying he's got straight A report card and you get mad at me for pointing out that he's got C's and D's in reality. The best prediction for future behavior is past behavior.
War is profitable for some and destructive for others, particularly nations. Every nation involved in WWII suffered economic destruction, except ours. We became quite wealthy, building planes and bombs. Unfortunately, these modern wars are money sucking machines. We are profiting nothing.
Clearly someone is profiting or we wouldn't be there. You constantly defend Trumps immorality by saying he needed to do it to stay competitive in business. Do you trust that he'll have a moral epiphany when it comes down to your sons life or aligning with war profiteers?
Donald Trump is a businessman. You criticize him for going bankrupt, yet when he moves his businesses to other countries to make a profit, he is scuмmy? Hmm. What do you want? Business men can only be successful if they can make a profit. This is what he is telling people: The US is not profitable to having and creating industry. We must change our laws. We are the only country that doesn't charge some sort of tariff for importing our goods. It's gotta change.
I don't criticize him for going bankrupt, I merely point out how your straight A golden boy is actually a D student, or cheated to pass the class.
All of this is irrelevant to Donald Trumps superiority. You seem to be assuming that Hillary and Bernie don't want people to work. If you're suggesting the flat tax type Republican ideals are superior to anything involving income redistribution, we've tried that. 1920s america had extreme income inequality, woman and child labor and no worker protections. The greatest prosperity and upward class mobility in america came when the highest tax rate was 91%. No I don't think people should get free money but those high tax rates force employers to pay higher wages to avoid those taxes. Without needing to resort to immoral businesses to make money. And no I don't think that this is the entire economic picture but neither is a flat tax.
I never said such a thing. We live in a post-Christian society that is completely morally bankrupt. No one can protect anyone from it. That's not what motivates my choice for President.
Yes you did. You said you will vote for him so long as your allowed to practice your faith freely, but his push of the gaming industry will eventually make it's way into your life and you will be forced to deal with it. He's also very pro-gαy, pro-chice, the most liberal Republican I've seen.
You're posting a bunch of life-isms but they have absolutely zero to do with TRump. He is being assigned attributes he does not display, and claims that he has never made. He is a pro gαy, pro choice, anti family, and pro money. Any way he can get it. He is the definition of a neo con.
-
I have nothing to say about Trump however my post is assigned to Anonymous Catholic yet again:
"No I don't think people should get free money but those high tax rates force employers to pay higher wages to avoid those taxes."
Uh those high tax rates also force businesses to go overseas if you also don't have strong protectionist policies in place. No what makes an economy good is economic competition between individuals to see who is stronger and better than the other.
"Or, as my late grampa used to say, "Sh** rolls downhill."
Well not everyone is meant to make it in this world. This world is only meant for the man with outstanding performance who can go above all others to prove himself.
"All of this is irrelevant to Donald Trumps superiority. You seem to be assuming that Hillary and Bernie don't want people to work."
Well Trump is a moron but Hillary is a woman and women don't understand much of anything in politics. As for Bernie Sanders he is a socialist Jew which means he wants his brothers to work, being all powerful in his Jew economy along with other inferiors like Negroes. And obviously people must work long hours to make the money. That is the duty for every man, especially a factory worker.

I refrain from arguing with smart alec teenagers. I work three jobs and have better things to do.

Obviously a nation must honour its workers which will never be done in a capitalist society like America, which destroys all good people. And America will never go against Jewry since it is controlled by it and the capitalist elite are subservient to them. This country also will always do the work for them which is why a country like Iran will try to be destroyed by this country of America, being a strong nation of good blood, removing Jєωιѕн nonsense from their region, and this country will sucker Europe to do its dirty work. No good person can be happy about America doing this.

..not because I was wrong but because I am young.
Friend, I agree age alone should not be a deal breaker when debating, conversing, weighing opinions, et cetera.
However let me tell you, when I was your age, even though exceptionally well versed in many areas and displaying unrivaled acuмen, I was also extremely self-confident and arrogant.
That lead me to be blinded to truth and over reliant on my own means, if not outright despiseful of other people.
It is only through a decade of experience, realisation and accidents than I was able to truly learn moderation and grasp what wisdom may actually be.
I was humbled by life (God). And rightly so.
And it's a never ending process, a road some people have to travel their whole lives to their very deaths.
I can't approve of how other posters have addressed you but I understand where they're coming from.
Youth's folly can be hard to endure, especially in our age when kids have no respect whatsoever left for their elders.

Several times during my comments about this topic, I have been falsely accused of saying things I didn't say. I never did respond to those accusations, but ignored them. I never called anyone a simpleton, that's not a word I use. I will call people's argumented oevrly-simplified, but this is not the same as "calling names". There were a few other posts like this accusing me by other people that I never addressed as well.

“America is great because she is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.”
― Alexis de Tocqueville
Or, as my late grampa used to say, "Sh** rolls downhill."
Our economy has changed. We are no longer a military/industrial economy. It does not exist in the United States. Our economy is driven by service industries. That is the reality. There is no morality attached to that statement. It is just a simply observation. Our nation has moved beyond industry. All of the jobs in our country are now service related. Gaming and gambling are just part of that.
I make no commentary on whether this makes America great or not. It is just observation.
I don't work in the industry. But this is where the jobs are. Does this effect people? Of course. But unskilled workers need jobs. The factories are not here, so they go to work as bartenders, waiters, card dealers, etc. It's just a reality. When your choice is to eat or starve, you will feed your children. That's a hard truth.
Surely comparing Ronald Reagans divorce to Donald Trumps former nude model, former mistress wife is like comparing apples to elephant dung. She's like an icon to our failure as a society and what's important to us. Every time I see her I feel sad that the Obamas are leaving.
Clearly you have missed the point. Ronald Reagan gave the United States no fault divorce while he was governor in California. He was sympathetic to the cause because he had experienced a terrible marriage and costly divorce. No-fault divorce has been one of the vehicles used to drive the population deep into moral decay. And it was given to us by a so-called champion of morality. I know many God-fearing Protestants who are on their 2nd or 3rd marriage. My uncle, who loves Jesus as much as anyone, is on marriage number 6. He never could have made it to the 3rd marriage without no-fault divorce. (His 1st wife died tragically.)
We are long past placing morality in this culture on infidelity and divorce. (Not me personally or traditional Catholics). But the divorce culture has shaped our society in such a way that most people do not attach a stigma of bad moral character to a person who has been married and divorced multiple times.
Going back to the title of this thread, the question is how is he better? You all are saying he's got straight A report card and you get mad at me for pointing out that he's got C's and D's in reality. The best prediction for future behavior is past behavior.
I blame this on the current education system in this country. I recently had a discussion with a teacher about this. This is rather unfortunate. Let me point it out in another way, from a Catholic perspective. Let's say I have a particular sin that I struggle with. Let me just use a sɛҳuąƖ sin. These are particularly difficult. But let's say I sneak peeks at unclothed men (I do not for the record, just using an example.) This year, I do it three times a day. I go to confession. I try really hard, but soon, I sneak a peek. I have failed! I don't just give up or call myself a failure. No, I go back to confession and try again. I keep working on my personal life, maybe not putting my self in situations, but none the less, I keep trying. Since I homeschool my children, I will use this example as well. I have a 2nd grader who really struggles with reading and spelling. She studies and tries really hard, but when I test her, she missed 5 out of 10 words. I could give her an F, but I don't. We go back over everything, figure out what she doesn't understand, and try again until she gets it right. Sometimes it takes 2 weeks for her to learn her words. But instead of seeing herself as a failure, she sees herself as diligent. She keeps trying. Many people think that because students don't get an A on a test that they are failures or they didn't try hard enough. This is not true and this is not what happens in real life.
In real life, we don't measure our successes by completing a task on the first try. We measure our successes by how many failures we overcome. This is real life 101. If you haven't learned this from your parents, then they have not done a very good job. You will fail many, many times. Successful people brush off their losses and try again.
You constantly defend Trumps immorality by saying he needed to do it to stay competitive in business. Do you trust that he'll have a moral epiphany when it comes down to your sons life or aligning with war profiteers?
I don't defend anyone's immorality. I just don't use a person's morality as a barometer for their value or their ability to do a job. I have known many men and women who struggled with their own morality. Donald Trump is a pragmatist. I understand this is difficult to grasp. A great many people of his generation are pragmatists. They do things that have to be done to be successful. My parents were like that. I didn't always think they made great decisions but they made decisions based on life rather than ideology.
Your information is incorrect. Early Americans paid no taxes on their incomes. Zero. One of the first uniform taxes was the estate tax first introduced in 1797. They were used to finance wars but often were repealed shortly thereafter. Corporate income taxes were implemented in 1909, I think, and the federal income tax was not introduced until 1913. That tax was introduced to finance WWI and the tax was 1% for those who made less than $20000 a year. Those with incomes of over $500000 paid a 7% tax. Upward mobility in the United States came because people could work hard and save their money. They could build a business and pass it on to their children without fear of death taxes.
As for women and children, the 1920s was a transition period from an agricultural society to a full blown manufacturing society. About 50% of women worked on their farms. Those women who did go out to work, were single and they became telephone operators, school teachers, secretaries, music teachers, and clothing store clerks. Once a married woman had children, she mostly returned home. A few remained working and child care was left to grandmas Yes, there were no standard wages. People negotiated wages themselves. Sometimes this was successful, other times not. Child labor is a different story. Most of the children who worked in the mills and mines were children of immigrants or poor families who lost their farms and moved to the cities for work. Yes, those conditions were deplorable. And yes, they were paid very little for long working hours. From a Protestant perspective, as these business owners and industrial magnates were, they didn't see any problem with this. They believed it was better for the Catholic immigrants to work 12 hours a day because it was less time they could spend drinking. Idle hands are the devil's workshop, they believed. Most didn't have a choice but to put their children to work. The rents were often higher than they could afford.
You said you will vote for him so long as your allowed to practice your faith freely, but his push of the gaming industry will eventually make it's way into your life and you will be forced to deal with it. He's also very pro-gαy, pro-chice, the most liberal Republican I've seen.
I already have to deal within the parameters of the economy. No one is going to be forced to work at the casino. My son has, and did. He graduated from college and it was a decent paying job. It didn't corrupt him. Sure he gambled some, but from a Catholic perspective, that's not necessarily a sin. He didn't gamble away his apartment or his car. There are as many immoral women working as nurses as there are working as bartenders.
In case you haven't noticed, society is pro-gαy, pro-choice, and liberal. TV and movies have made sure of that. At most companies, there are ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs. They bring their partners to Christmas parties. They can't be counseled out of it. Public schools have unisex bathrooms and unisex gyms. They are managers at MacDonald's and the grocery stores. A Republican risks political ѕυιcιdє if they run on a campaign that opposes abortion completely--they must approve of exceptions. They sell condoms in the aisle at Rite Aid and Walmart. Unless you live under a rock or in a cave in the desert, liberal society is in your face. It's not going anywhere. Any one who believes any politician is going to change that is ideological. It is not going to happen. Not even through the Supreme Court. When Republicans use these social conservative creds is is precisely to get votes from evangelical Christians. What have any of them really done to stop abortion, to stop gαy-marriage, to stop the progression of liberal policies? Absolutely Nothing. Because they can't. It's all rhetoric to get elected.
He is the definition of a neo con.
You have no idea what a neocon is. Originally the term was used in the 80s to describe a liberal who disagreed with the Democrats on defense issues. Today, its mostly used to reference hawkish politicians of both parties. A neocon believes that Americas greatness comes from America being a great power, through vast and unlimited global military involvement. Neocons believe that we will lose our credibility in the world or respect if we stop trying to bring democracy to countries.
The Bushes are Neocons. The Clintons are Neocons. Rubio is a Neocon. Donald Trump is as far from a Neocon as possible.

I'm not sold on this one. I think they want you to believe the nail is in the coffin and just deal with it, but there is still a solid opposition out there to abortion, ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs, even fornication and if we don't grab on to that now, it will certainly be dead in a generation.
37% of Americans think ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity is morally unacceptable, compared to just 15% in Canada or 17% in Britain.
49% of Americans think abortion is morally unacceptable, compared to just 26% in Canada. Surveys indicate that Russians are more accepting of abortion than Americans are.
Premarital sex -- 30% of Americans find it morally unacceptable, a tie with Russia.
I don't know about the political ѕυιcιdє, either. Trump might be leading the pack, but both Rubio and Cruz have/are proving to be somewhat of a challenge and they both oppose abortion with no exceptions.
Also, Kasich has a pretty long list of achievements in limiting abortion in his home state. Whether or not their approaches prove to be effective in the long run, you can't accuse him of doing nothing.

The duty of all Catholics is to vote for the candidate who best reflects Catholic beliefs and values. Unfortunately for many Catholics these days this means nothing as evidenced by 54% of Catholics who voted for the pro-abort, pro-ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ marriage Barack Hussein Obama. The Church is very clear, if this action was done with full consent and knowledge then it is not only a sin but a mortal sin.
The same thing is about to happen in this next election but this one features a red herring. The herring’s name is Ted Cruz. I know many Catholics lured into voting for this man because of his stance on pro-life and pro-traditional marriage. Yes, very admirable points that are in keeping with orthodox Catholic faith. Unfortunately there is a poison lurking below the surface that many Catholics are not aware of or don’t want to be aware of.
The religion Ted Cruz subscribes to is the religion of his Father Rafael Cruz. That religion is evangelical in base but its called Dominion Theology, or Dominionism. Basically the theology of the Cruz’s is this;
In a sermon last year, Rafael Cruz said that his son is among the evangelical Christians who are anointed as “kings” to take control of all sectors of society. This is a Christian dominionist agenda that’s commonly called the “Seven Mountains” mandate: (1) Business; (2) Government; (3) Media; (4) Arts and Entertainment; (5) Education; (6) Family; and (7) Religion. If “Seven Mountains” is too abstract, “Creeping Christofascism” puts a much finer point to it. Just a side note, I thought the revolutionary war was fought to remove “kings” from the American landscape?
According to Political research associates: “Dominionists want to impose a form of Christian nationalism on the United States, a concept that was dismissed as eroding freedom and democracy by the founders of our country. Dominionism has become a major influence on the right-wing populist Tea Parties as Christian Right activists have flooded into the movement at the grassroots.”
What we are looking at here is the Christian version of the Islamic Caliphate. Power can ONLY be held by the Evangelican Christian elite. Catholics and Jews are excluded from this power structure. This is directly against the teaching of the Catholic church. Canon 750 states ” …….must be believed with divine and catholic faith;it is manifested by the common adherence of the Christian faithful under the leadership of the sacred magisterium; therefore, all are bound to avoid any doctrines whatever which are contrary to these truths” In addition Canon 752 states, “A religious respectof intellect and will, even if not the assent of faith, is to be paid to the teaching which the Supreme Pontiff for the college of bishops enunciate on faith or morals when they exercise the authentic magisterium even if they do not intend to proclaim it with a definitive act; therefore Christian faithful are to take care to avoid whatever is not in harmony with that teaching“.
Like Barack Obama Ted Cruz is an ideologue or as his father Rafeal says, his son is a king. I urge all Catholics planning to vote for Cruz to take off your blinders and look into the man’s upbringing. Remember the devil will tell you 10 truths in order to pass one lie.

... and? It shouldn't matter that he's a Jew.
Yeah, I don't get this. Who cares if Ivanka Trump is married to a Jew? Her last name is Trump, so her image is kinda tarnished by association, anyway.
Spot on as usual, JezusDeKoning. It should not matter if Ivanka Trump is married to a Jew.
Jews are the most saintly people on earth. #theh0Ɩ0cαųst #never4get
I'm not a Jew, I just have a special place in my heart for the 6,000,000 Holycaust victims.

How are the Jєωιѕн forums doing these days? Oh that's right a Goy like me is not fit to talk to the Jєωιѕн masters.

It should matter as Jews are a bunch of stinky, perverted Semites from the Middle East who racially pollute peoples, not only with foreign blood but their inferior values and they wish to make slaves out of all Goy for a Jєωιѕн world empire. Hell they already dominate in all spheres of activity anyway.
