REVEALED: Hillary Camp's Plot to overthrown the Election
The Horn News
You probably thought that the presidential election was finally over. President-elect Donald Trump has won, and the American people had heard the last of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Not quite. It looks like the Clinton campaign is trying one last time to rig the election — even after the votes have been tallied.
According to the U.S. Constitution, the election isn’t official until the Electoral College casts its votes.
And millions of Clinton campaign staff and voters are circulating a new petition demanding the electors overturn the results and “make Hillary Clinton president on December 19.”
“We are calling on the Electors to ignore their states’ votes and cast their ballots for Secretary Clinton,” the petition on Change.org says. “The Electoral College can actually give the White House to either candidate. So why not use this most undemocratic of our institutions to ensure a democratic result?”
This is a ‘Hail Mary’ plan isn’t a fringe movement, either. So far, over four million people have signed the petition – including liberal celebrities like Pink, Rosie Perez, and Amanda Seyfried – since it was posted online Thursday. Its author is someone named “Elijah Berg,” that has never posted another petition on the platform site, and some opponents are openly speculating that Berg is the pen name of an operative in Hillary’s campaign.
As incredible as it sounds, it isn’t impossible.
If fact, this isn’t even the first time the Clinton machine has tried to steal the Electoral College vote.
In 2000, after the endless Florida recounts, Bob Beckel – a longtime Democratic operative and current CNN pundit – admitted he was “researching” Republican electors in an attempt to “convince” (that is, blackmail) them to vote for Al Gore. If three electors had switched their votes, Gore would have stolen the presidency.
On Friday, Politico.com published a list of all known electors who will vote in 2016, probably just to speed the Democrats’ blackmail process along.
Could a runaway Electoral College actually overturn Trump’s election?
Of the 50 states, 21 leave electors free to vote for anyone they want. Another 29 states fine so-called “faithless electors” for voting for a candidate not supported by state voters – but they’re small fines, usually $1,000. The DNC billionaire donor club would likely pay those fines in a heartbeat. And as they’ve shown time and time again, Democrats will chuck the will of the people and ignore the rule of law if it gets in the way of their left-wing agenda.
The bad news is that electors tend to be party hacks with deep ties to the GOP Establishment – the very kind of people Donald Trump fought to kick out of power. Trump had to fight a two-front war against the Democrats and their media minions on one hand, and Republicans like the Bushes and Lindsey Graham (who bragged about not voting for Trump) on the other.
The good news is that Hillary likely remains too unpopular – with her own party and with the American people as a whole – to pull this off. The final Electoral College vote is likely to be 306-232. That means that Hillary needs to change the votes of at least 38 electors to get the 270 she needs to win. There have only been 82 “faithless electors” who voted for another candidate in the last 240 years, according to FairVote, and the last time anyone voted for another party’s candidate was 1972.
A handful of Republicans might vote for Ted Cruz, or another Republican, but Hillary needs too many people to switch sides to make this effort likely.
And Hillary has a bigger problem: Two of the electors likely to switch their votes are supposed to be voting for her. A Democratic elector from Washington state – Robert Satiacum of the Puyallup tribe – said Hillary “will not get my vote, period,” and another, Bret Chiafalo, has said he’s not sure he can vote for Clinton, either.
At last, the Clintons parade of scandals comes to an end, cut off by the Trump Train. It’s about time.
Leaked emails showed that her campaign conspired with then-Democratic Party chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz to rig the primaries against Sen. Bernie Sanders.
Donna Brazile, who took over the party leadership this summer, fed the Clinton campaign the questions that journalists would ask her during the debates. And 91 percent of stories the evening news ran about Donald Trump since July were negative, according to the Media Research Center.
But Donald Trump tapped into the underlying patriotism and pride of the American people, and they repaid him with a massive vote turnout, from coast to coast.
The American people spoke so loudly at the ballot box it seems that not even a Hillary can steal the election this time.
